Edge & SA may be too pricey. LJ may be more affordable especially with Sammy Morris & Lamar Gordon under contract. Additionally, acquiring someone currently within the same division is an added bonus.
I think Thomas should be the pursued back. However, if they can pick up a back like Shaun Alexander, then they should definitely do it, although they need to watch the price. Chicago can definitely spare a running back.
Alexander is a best case scenario, but an unlikely one at that even though I read an article in the Herald that suggested it would be his preffered team(i read the same about Edge, could this be a reverse bidding war?)....more likely they are using the dolphins to leverage money out of their current teams....A-Train would be the best combination of production, potential, and value and if put on a ball control team with a high power defense, he could be a major weapon....
I voted E James i would lo0ve to see Miami stop being a pounding type of team. With NE and BUF following that path io think it would be best to let the receivers run down field let edge take alot of outside carries and sign a big guy to get those 2 and 3 1's and 2's
S. Alexander - Miami E. James - Seattle A. Thomas - Tampa Bay R. Williams - Oakland L. Jordan - Arizona
E. James is not going to seattle. He will play for Indy or Miami. A thomas will not end up in tampa, R. williams may end up in oakland, and arizona will draft a RB or get bennett from minnesota

i really hope the Jets keep Lamont he is so good, except for that interception he threw in the last game, but i'll give him a break hes not a QB, but he is a sick RB and if he stays in Jets uniform and eventually takes over Curtis Martin's job i will be really happy, anyway i think you guys will get James hes from Miami isnt he
BearsFan1 disagrees, but I think Miami should sign Travis Henry. Most of those backs will be too expensive for Miami to sign given their pending salary cap hell. If they want to pursue Brees, too, they'd better start thinking "cheap."

I don't see it happening any time soon nor will Jordan's patience last that long. He wanted a trade earlier this season. Edge is from Fla (unsure where?) & went to UM. LJ would be my prefence of the 4. Lamar Gordon, however, has not been given a chance to prove himself w/ Miami. Morris could move back to FB; Jordan & Gordon could then rotate.
if Jordan goes to another team he better get starting privledges he deserves it, he is so much better than Gordan, watch him play he is such a dominant power back
