<div class="quote_poster">Quoting P_Stojakovic16:</div><div class="quote_post">i dont think that SOME twolves fans not ALL should complain about cassell being hurt, because even though the twolves may have beaten the lakers with him, look at what the kings have had to deal with year in and year out and not just in the playoffs but throughout the regular season</div>

we were in the same boat as you this year. we lost an all-star at the beginning of the seaon like you (kings fans) did. we lost a key bench player for much/most of the season like you did, and we also had to play the playoffs without him like you did. but i dont hear anyone complaining, maybe make a mention of the fact we didn't have cassell, but no one here is complaining. we are all proud of the season we had. satisfied? no, not by any means, but damn proud of what our team was able to accomplish. it sucks that you guys had it as a re-occuring problem, but you have to play your way through it, because its not like this is the first time it has happened, and it certainly won't be the last time it happens.

Game seven win over the Kings. Major step for the club and Kevin.

It was a great year. Hopefully Sam will have the hip ligament sugery and recover fast. The Wolves will have to get a solid backup @ point. Troy Hudson is a freeagent. Need to move Candie, damn I can't beleave hoe bad he is.

Since I'm too lazy to quote everybody that had a message towards me, I'll just make this post for everybody. Peja didn't have a good handle on the ball, somebody hit it just before he shot it. Look at your video tape. I'm not lying. When something like that happens, you lose your "legs" so to speak so he just put up a hailmary to not get a shotclock violation. And KG caught it. It was pretty easy. Now, somebody said that they can't remember the dunk that Cwebb had on KG. Well, that just shows how blinded you are by KG. Now, that crossover by KG was cool, even though he crossed over Cwebb? I mean, the guy can barely hold balance. His dunk was kinda weak though. Nobody came over to help and yet he jumped up and clutched his knees to his body as though he thought he was gonna die or something. Don't get me wrong, I love KG. [IMG]

I know you living in Sacramento, they played Webbers dunk 100 time a day AFTER they were eliminated, but for the fans outside of those borders we saw it twice. [IMG]

regardless of the circumstances on peja's shot, when you look on the score sheet, it will read Peja Stojakovic missed shot, Blocked by Kevin Garnett, Defensive Rebound Kevin Garnett. I don't care if Hoiberg did get his hand in the mix, there was still enough time for him to pass the ball, but instead he thought he could put up a shot over KG, which he could not, and the end result it what it is... KG CAUGHT HIS SHOT. I remember the dunk on KG, it was a nasty dunk by webber, but like i said, anyone in KGs position could not have blocked the shot due to the position they were in... it's not like he took KG straight to the rack and dunked on him like KG did to Nene in the first round. Hell, if you wanna say that, then after KG crossed webber over, he dunked on Miller who was pretty much under the basket, but who also didn't contest the shot.

Here's what webber and Peja have to say to KG ... [IMG]

Bitter about what? Because we made it to Conference Finals? Webber dunked on KG? KG crossed over Webber? Peja's had the ball taken from him by KG? Answer me WarriorsxGS what do you want?

Simply the remake of the Timberwolves, the coming of Cassell and Spree' is such a blessing for both KG and fans alike. They've really made the Timberwolves something to write home about. Wally World and Kandiman coming back are alright as well, they've worked hard and got it done. Lastly is the fact that Hassell and Hoiberg have been playing terrific D. Meaning the best thing would have to be their simply becoming a much better team.

(I was actually just joking) But if it referred to anybody in particular, it was Yugoslavia and those debating about Webber vs KG. Even tho I personally like the Kings a bit more, I think KG ownz Webber's old knees. Webber used to be one of the best in the NBA, but he is in no way at the level of KG in my opinion due to his injury and his lack of playing this season. Don't take it personally bud. :beerchug:

I should've sent a smile with my post because I was joking too. It's weitd that the Kings and their fans seem to be so cocky....because it's not warranted. The only team that can be cocky IMO is the Lakers, because they've proved themselves repeatedly. But even they can't be too loud with it because if they would just play with intensity throughout the games, series, seasons there would be no "If this person were healthy" or "They won due to luck" arguments. But, we could argue that nobody in Peja's position could have done anything better. And yea, it's a block, defensive rebound, and missed shot by Peja, but it wasn't that great. KG had ten more better plays than that. Plus, you're saying that KG owned Cwebb. Maybe a little, but Cwebb stood his ground fairly well, I might add, considering his condition.

you could argue that nobody in Peja's position could have done anything better, but we won't do that, cuz fact remains, his shot got caught in mid-air. Out of the top 10 plays in that sac series, i think 99.9% of the people would put the catch in there... the 0.1% exception being you. To round out the list, we could add KG's crossover, KG's three-pointer over 2 defenders to beat the shot clock in game, and KG's game winner to win game 3, and KG's game saving block in game 7 when he sent miller's shot in to the stands. All of which were better plays than webber's dunk IMO. KG didn't own Cwebb a little, he dominated him. 32 points, 21 rebounds, 5 blocks, 4 steals in the clinching game, and a crossover that left webber guarding nothing. 19 blocks in minnesota's 4 wins. That's total ownage, not a little ownage. And regardless of his condition, when he was 100% last year, KG still averaged 17 boards on the kings with webber playing all 4 games... KG has been dominating webber for quite some time now.

The plays you named were all better than the one people are naming here. What's wrong?

    Touche!!!
But that would mean that you hit the rewind button a few too many times :P . But from the intensity of your post, I would ASSUME that Webber dunked on KG. Personally, I like the Kings and thought that if there was any team to end the Lakers run (game 7 at Arco) I would want it to be them. I hope they keep the team together, focus on free throws, tense game situations, and team defense.
