The Pacers' bench has outscored the Pistons 70-34 in the last three games. That is more than double. Earlier this month i got in an argument w/ some pistons fans about who has a better bench. This is just a statement of how much better the pacers bench is than detroit. enough said.
The Pistons' bench bring Defense more than offense, Lindsey Hunter, Darvin Ham,Mike James, on the Pistons bring defense to the table. The only real bench player that plays due to his offense is Corliss Williamson, &maybe OKur. Most of the Pistons offense comes from their starters Billups, Hamilton, & now Rasheed. So its hard to compare who bench is better by which bench scores more points.
^ took the words right of my mouth. comparing an offensive bench to a defensive bench points wise is pointless.

Guys like Mike James and Lindy Hunter are great on the ball defenders. Okur and Williamson are the only real scorers but the rest can play defense and score inside. But should this really be your worry? who has the better bench? Pacers are now out.
u actually think that det's bench is better on D than indy??? lmao!! al harrington held jordan to 8 points a couple years ago. croshere is top 20 help defense player. Freddy Jones is an incredible defender. and when having a good night, so is anthony. oh, btw, congrats to the pistons MVP: david stern

Harrington is a decent defender and holding a 40 year MJ to 8 points? not really a big deal and from what I remember, MJ torched him for 37 in their next meeting. Croshere top 20 defensive help defender? now someone is certainly not thinking straight. Your bench has a few DECENT defenders but Indy's bench is so good due to the offensive fire power. Detroit's bench defenders are the best in th league at trapping guys and showing up court pressure. Just ask Jason Kidd. David Stern huh? last time I checked Rip Hamilton hasn't changed his name
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">u actually think that det's bench is better on D than indy??? lmao!! al harrington held jordan to 8 points a couple years ago </div> MJ's knees held him to 6pts, Jalen Rose & Al harrington just happen to be the defenders in front of him. MJ scored like 20 plus ever other time he faced the Pacers as a Wizard. And MJ had to drop 41 on AL & the Pacers just to let them know that one night was just a fluke. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">croshere is top 20 help defense player.</div> Croshere & defense dont go in the same sentence. He might be a solid help defender(top 20 he is not) but his on ball defense in the post is a liablity, thats part of the reason he spent so much time on the Pacers bench collecting dust. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Freddy Jones is an incredible defender. and when having a good night, so is anthony</div>. Anthony Johnson is a notable pressure defender, but hard to put him on the level of Lindsey Hunter.
