"I won't know, though, until it gets closer to the draft. Hey, Orlando would be fine with me," said Okafor, reached in Dallas on his cell phone. Okafor, the Connecticut All-America center, and Dwight Howard, the Atlanta high school star, are expected to be the top players available to the Magic in the June 24 draft.</div> Full Story
He will be a Magic next year, but I just dont see him having a great NBA career, I think his back will hamper him throughout his career. Its nice to see that he likes where he probably will end up because too many times people demand trades because they dont like where they are playing...Eli Manning...John Elway...the list goes on.

Of course Okafor would love to play for the Magic. He'll have the chance to be the big dawg there. He'll have the chance to play the majority of the minutes and show his worth.

He'd provide the much needed inside presence and shot blocking which Orlando is currently lacking. The only concern is, McGrady stated that there isn't anyone in the draft to help us immediately. So, would Orlando trade the pick to keep McGrady happy?
Okafor would be crazy not to love Orlando. Like Innets said he's getting the minutes and should be getting some major boards since that's what Orlando lacks. I don't see the Magic trading the pick to sastify McGrady. He's going to leave sooner or later.
I think Okafor would change TMac's mind once he starts working out. He treats Okafor like he's an international project or something. I don't get it. The Magic's greatest concern is defense and rebounding. Okafor showed that he can do that against the greatest competition in college and by the looks of it, he can do it in the NBA as well. What they need to do is trade their 2nd rounder to get Armstrong back.

I think Wesbroid should tell T-Mac to wait a few weeks to see how the team goes..after drafting Okafor and making some trades...I just think Okafor will do a great job in the NBA..if things are not working out then trade T-Mac before the trading deadline...but this kid Dwight is going to be as good or better than KG man...scary as hell.
T-Mac is either one big crybaby or this is a bargaining ploy to get some talent around him similar to what K.G did last summer. It also seems foolish of him to trash someone who most likely will be playing alongside him next year. He's already lost a ton of fans because of this and will lose even more if he leaves. He's tarnishing his Superstar status as he's being exposed as a immature crybaby. I've supported him since Day but if he leaves, so be it. I'll still get my Okafor jersey.

I was going to say oh well if he leaves I know who is going to be my fav Magic player and I was already imagining me with my Okafor Jersey hehe anybody knows if he is going to wear #50?
I kind of want Dwight Howard now. Okafor would be perfect if we had Tmac, but chances are we will lose him and I can see a team building around Dwight. I think he's going to be a stud in 2,3, or 4 years. So I say go with the potential stud, instead of immediate help, because I don't think Okafor will ever be a franchise player.

Orlando definetely lacks Okafor's post presence... He will be a nice addition to the team, but I expect Magic to recieve most help from trades, signings of free-agents and players making comebacks(Hill, Garrity). If all goes well T-Mac should stay...
