I think Hornets should really draft JR Smith..he will be an awesome SG in this league..and is just what they need..a big SG(at least bigger than Davis) http://nbadraft.net/profiles/jrsmith.asp that's the link for you guys that don't know who I'm talking about..I think he will be the biggest steal in this draft after Peter Ramos from P.R.... (Notice he was in the 2nd round before..now he is moving into the top 15)

here is a better link for JR Smith..NBADRAFT.NET sux.. http://www.angeltowns.com/members/nbadraft/jrsmith.htm

I think the Hornets should look at:

    1) Josh Childress (if he falls)
    2) Luke Jackson
    3) Sergei Monya
    4) Dorell Wright
    5) JR Smith

Basically we they need a SG or SF, just basically a swingman is what they need.

I like the sound of Childress and JR Smith best. They are unselfish players with some good offense and vision on their shoulders. They really could help lighten the load for B Dizzle which is my main concern, it seems his stealing ability, speed and quickness as well as the size and overall defensive game of PJ Brown and Magloire handle the defensive end.

Josh Childress would probably be the best bet for the Hornets, he's played in college and has proven himself there. But Childress will likely be unavailable because someone else will draft him before the Hornets, then I would go with my boy JR Smith. JR is going to be an impact player out of highschool like Amare Stoudemire & Kobe& Lebron.

JR Smith is a great pick for the Hornets, this is what I was hoping for, David Wesley isn't young anymore, and we don't even know if Mash will be playing next season.

    PG: Baron Davis/Armstrong
    SG: David Wesley/Courtney Alexander/JR SMith
    SF: FA SF/JR Smith
    PF: PJ Brown/David West
C: Magloire/ Maybe sign Traylor back or FA Center.

I'm very pleased with the Hornets draft. They drafted just what they needed, 2 good backcourt shooters. Picket and Smith can hit lights out from behind the arc. I remember Picket unloaded one game and was making everything behind the arc in one of his Florida State games and J.R. Smith was showing in the All-American game that he can hit the 3 from NBA range.

Nice draft New Orleans. And good luck in the western conference. Should do well. Magloire proved in the All-Star game that he can bump around and do good against the big men of the west.
