There are many big names out on the market this offseason, and I wanted to know what you guys are thinking about what is going on. In my opinion a lot of big names are going to be tossed around this offseason and it should be very exciting.

Obviously some of the top names on everybody's lists are T-Mac and Kobe

T Mac has said that he would rather sign with another team rather than stay and help the Orlando Magic rebuild. I think this is a good move on his part, because he has given all of the effort possible into making the Magic a good team, but I think that he believes he needs more supporting players around him so that the pressure is not on him to provide big numbers game in and game out. I see him moving to a team like the Suns where he will have Shawn Marion as a compliment to his game.

I think that Kobe has the very opposite feeling that T-Mac does. If the Lakers win the championship this year that is just icing on the cake for Kobe to stay in Los Angeles. He has everything that a player could want in LA, and I think that Kobe is just testing the waters to see what else is out there since it is his first time being a free agent in the league.

Now is our two hall of famers Karl Malone and Gary Payton.

With a championship for the Lakers this year, I see Karl Malone retiring from the league with what he has wanted for 20 years--a ring. He has done everything that a player could have done in the NBA and his career has been a great one.

Gary Payton in my mind has another year or two left in those old bones of his. He has said that he would like to keep playing and I think that he can do it. It may not be with the Lakers, because I think that Gary Payton is looking for a little bit more playing time instead of looking onto the court from the bench during fourth quarters in games. But then again, Gary may like the look of an NBA championship on his finger if it happens so you never know.

Rumors are being thrown around about C Webb being traded by the Kings. There is no way that the Kings want to get rid of him, because he is the heart of the team. Even in his hobbled form Webber was still able to give the game all of his effort to help his team win games. Next year I see Chris back with the Kings and a lot more mobile and recovered from his hobbling form as of this season. Even if there was the thought of trading Webber.....does anyone really want to take on his 4 year, 80 million dollar contract??

There are many teams that need rebuilding and you never know what kinds of crazy deals will cook up in the NBA this offseason.

This if my first time writing a major post and I'm kind of nervous about what people will think [IMG] , but i gave it my best and please give me feedback on what i have wrote..thanks

i wonder if nash will go back to canada or stay in dallas. i know he wants to stay in dallas, but i think if toronto makes a serious push at him, he'll go home. 'sheed is gonna be on the market too, and i believe kenyon is as well?

i think tmac will end up in a orlando or houston uni.

kobe will play for one of the LA teams.

and webber ain't going no where.

I think a lot of draft picks will be traded in the draft.I think the Magic might trade their pick for immediate help or T-Mac will opt out of his contract because he said he does not want to go throw the rebuilding process.

I think that Steve Nash may want to stay with the Mavericks if they can get some quality big men to toughen the no defense Mavericks up on the interior..this is the piece of the puzzle that the Mavs have been missing
