All of you are wrong. Isiah is way better than Kidd. He was the heart and soul of the old Bad Boys. He has championship rings, Kidd doesn't.

Also on today's matchup..

Bird's Celtics vs. Jordan's Bulls.

Man, this is a tough one! I guess I'd have to go w/ the Bulls just because of the fact the Jordan was unstoppable and had a great supporting cast of Pippen, Hodges, Paxson, Cartwright, Grant Williams, Armstrong, and Phil Jackson. I guess you could say the same about Bird but the Bulls were much more athletic than the white and green.

[IMG] that last round sucked though. Even Vince was missing dunks, but Paul Pierce couldn't make jack.

without question its Jason Kidd. Rings have nothin to do with the question at hand.

ill elaborate on my last post..... VC is the best dunker because well not many people can get there arm in the rim... and new school bad boys because of Wallace X2, RIP, and the pitbulls.... in my opinion better than the old bad boys. sorry if thats not elaborate enough sorry im just a vague person.

Jason Kidd is better at both passing and court awareness. Kidd might not have rings, but he took a team from worst in the league to the NBA Finals. Isiah Thomas was a great player and leader, but he was in a different situation in Detroit. In Detroit he was surrounded by a talented team for a majority of his years. Isiah is the better player in my opinion, but the question isn't who's better, it's who was better at those particular skill sets, and Jason Kidd is hands down better in both.

Today's matchup is:

The 3 point shooters back in Bird's years (example Bird, Hodges, etc.)
VS
The current 3 point shooters ( example Stoakovic, Billups, etc.)

I'm gonna let you guys start this one out...

I say Bird & Hodges. Don't forget Mark Price, Ainge, Michael Copper & B. Scott.
Guys today don't shot like the old schoolers. That's one of the reasons scoring is way down today. Back in the day almost every team had at least one lights out shooter. Does any remember Alex English and the nuggets averaging 120pts a game for a season.

I guess you are right, my mind went blank when I tried thinking of all old schoolers my mind went blank but after you sparked my memory the old-timers def. take this one.

def. ol skool on that 3 point thing...

yahhh i saw that whirlwind 360 by Vince on his bryond the glory
when he did that i was like HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cuz it looked so smooth and perfected....the whirlwind was perfect, him cocking the ball back looked perfect and the finish was emphatic.....that was just [IMG]

then there was that dunk over Tim White (i think thats his last name) from the freethrow line......and lets not forget jumping OVER a 7 footer...

Nique created some of the the dunks but Vince perfect/enhanced them farther

p.s- VC has also created his own dunks (360 windmill, behind the backboard 360 windmill which is a lot harder to do then u think, sticking the arm in the rim, the bounce thru the legs and a two handed free throw line dunk attemp....pretty much his whole slam dunk contest dunks were original in an enhanced way)

I guess, but lot of those dunks that he did. Streetballers have done before hand. Like that globetrotter Michael Wilson, can did all those and then some. But of course if you can dunk on a 12-2 inch rim being the same height as Vince. To bad this guy didn't make the nba as far as the dunk contests are concerned.

Bird's Celtics would own Jordan's 80's Bulls, but Jordan's 90's Bulls would upset Bird's Celtics by making a buzzer beater by none other than Jordan.

However, their trademark teams played roughly in the same era, so they're both "old" teams.

I think Jason Kidd has more passing skills than Isaiah but Zeke was the better player, after all he did lead his team to rings.

What about:
Kobe
VS
TMac

Jordan-esque already stated who's superior to go along with tons of facts that explain the superiority, millions of times, therefore there's a correct answer to this question, so it's not an opinionated debate that people have made it.

Big Ben, Ben is adding everything to his game. He's been working on his jumper's and it sort of looks like its paying off, Rodman was known for rebounding but big ben can do it all.
