    ..now I know Yao is a big cat,but damn fellas..I never realized how big he was compared to Shaq. Check out this picture from the All Star game.

    A rock coated with blubber maybe. lol Besides Yao isn't that much of a twig. A twig is Shawn Bradley or Manute Bol. Yao got some muscle tone to him.

    Yao is definitely not a twig. His rookie year he was skinny up top, but he worked hard to bulk up in the off-season and actually has some good growth in his arms and chest. His legs have always been huge. The problem with Yao is his cardio, he breaks down too, fast and doesn't have the stamina to play at a high level for 4 quarters.

    Shaq isnt that much blubber, I was watching something and they showed him, he is pretty muscular.

    Shaq is a huge guy, but just like shapecity said, Yao has to improve in his cardio so he can play longer. Yao Ming has to improve on speed, stamina, and more inside moves. He'll be all set when he masters all three.

    Shaq is definitely no longer a "rock". Hard muscle doesn't tend to umm..."jiggle" (for the lack of a better word off the top of my head) considerably as you run down the court.

    Isn't it obvious that Yao is that big compared to Shaq when Yao is 7'5 while Shaq is 7'1?
