    The LA Lakers host the Detroit Pistons in Game 1 of the 2004 NBA Finals on Sunday. They have a rare chance to bag their 4th NBA championship in five years. Meanwhile, the Pistons are seeking their third title. They last captured the title in 1990, a year after bagging the title for the very first time.

    its game 1, the juices will be flowing and it is in la. i expect la to handle home court in games 1 and 2. winning both convincingly. no, im not disrespecting detroit, its just that la is the better team.

    Im going to take laker's on this one, I dont think the piston's can take this series either. Big Ben, Prince, & Rip have been doing everything for the pistons, but they probably can't keep it up into the first game of the series. Im gonna have fun watching this one, anyways ill take laker's by 6+.
