<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post">I know Jay-Z has started to go to Nets games as well. He should anyways, he's the owner.</div> He use to come in 99 & 00' to during the Steph era. So did Fat Joe, but when Steph left they left with him. Fat Joe said he would never go to another Nets game again because the way Steph was treated by the Nets after he got dealt to PHX. He even dissed Kenyon Martin on Hot 97's Kay Slay show, after Martin took a cheapshot at Steph in the local Daily News. Fat Joe can now be found at the garden for every game in the front row. Jay-z only came back for the reason you stated he is going to have part ownership in the team once the sale is approved. So he has to show his face to convince the League offices that he really cares about us. But he really a knick fan, he has been going to their games forever. Jay-z liking the Nets is strictly a business move. Iam not mad t him business is business but I dontconsidere him a fan.
Jack Nicholson was at the Dodgers game on Sunday and they showed him on the jumbotron wearing a YANKEES hat and the entire stadium started to boo him! I really thought he was one of the rare celebrities that was actually a true sports fans, but this is just ridiculous and I see him as nothing more than yet another bandwagon fan. It's one thing to be a Lakers fan, but being a Lakers fan AND a Yankees fan is the ultimate form of bandwagonism. Why doesn't he like the Dodgers or one of the other California baseball teams, why the YANKEES? He isn't a true fan, he's just another bandwagoner.

Being a fan is a personal/individual thing, you choose who you want to follow, you don't choose because others say hey you can't be their fan they already got too many etc. any bandwagon comments are totally illagitament.

Because NOBODY on the face of the earth is real fan of both the Yankees and the Lakers unless they're on the bandwagon. He's a bandwagon fan and that's all there is to it. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's just Jack has always been known as a real diehard fan up until now and a lot of people have lost respect for him, this stuff about him being a bandwagon Yankees and Lakers fan is all over SportsCenter and whatnot and they're doing on stories on whether he's a bandwagon fan, so it's not just me who is thinking it.
Its obviously LA and NY with all those stars. Oh ya i saw that when jack nicholson wore a yankee hat at the dodger game, and the hat was yellow, he has to have something to do with lakers doesnt he.
Well Jack made Jimmey Kimmels show. Jimmy said something about Jack being a true fan of the teams that are dynastys. Yankees, my dad wears that hat just to wear it but everybody thinks he's a fan and gets irritated by that. He should just wear another hat, but when I wore that hat nobody assumed I was a yankee fan.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice:</div><div class="quote_post">Warren Sapp attends several Magic games as well. He's probably the only regular who attends games. I've seen Smilez & Southstar, Daunte Culpepper, some dude from NSYNC, and a couple of other football players, all whom I have no idea who they are (I HATE football). Dennis Salvagio aka the Fat Guy isn't a celebrity, but he's well known with all Magic fans. He attends every home game, and runs around the arena when the games get close. And if it's a really good game, he goes shirtless - which is scary. Like Accord said, most of the celeb Laker fans are just their for their TV time. I've seen Ben Afleck, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Denzel, etc. there supporting 'their Lakers.' It's Hollywood, and they are there for the show. The only true LA celeb fan is Jack Nicholson. He's been there long enough - thats a true fan.</div> carrot top aka the ugy in the collect commercials goes to magic games... he's a nice guy but gets annoyed when too many fans start coming up for autographs..haha. Dr. J used to go to almost every Magic game.. I used to meet him all the time..haha.. it was cool.. I didn't see him at all last season though
