Did you like the awesome offense or do u like the swarming defense? Back in the day every game it would be over 100. Now if we get over 80 we consider that to be a good game. We went from Michael Jordan to Kobe Bryant. From Magic Johnson to Lebron James. From John Stockton to Jason Kidd. From Dr J. to Tracy Mcgrady. From Dominque to Vince. From Larry Bird to Dirk. From Wilt to Shaq. From Hakeem to Kevin Garnett. Back then we would have 3 or 4 people average over 30 now we have like 1 person averaging over 28. What i'm trying to ask is do u think the league is changing for the better or for the worse?

People tend to forget that the point of the game is still to outscore the other team. You must analyze the situation, your own personal taste in the game. the old saying "offense sells tickets, defense wins championships" is how i go by. I enjoy the high scoring games and the fast-pace action , but I love the Larry O'brien trophy even more. I personally think the games have gotten a bit dull considering the schedules of teams and the players are all fatigue.

Yeh I agree with that saying also. I love the swarming defense that the NBA game is going too. Not only does it let you see teams get choked by massive defense it also lets you see what players want it more. It lets you see what guys can handle the pressure and what guys cant.

Now the NBA is not an individual sport anyway. Its a team game. The more defense teams create. The more teams will have to play a more team oriented game. Which will take the game back to how it was originally played. Without havin consistent 60 point games by one person. Alla Tracy McGrady. I love alll the changes that the game is going through.

Me myself personally I love swarming defense. I love tosee the bloscks and stops that great teams create. to me it looks like the Pistons are the future of the NBA. No real stars just plain team Defense and team offense. Go Pistons in 6. I just decided to plug them there.

But seriously IThink the teams will probally have to transform to a more Piston Style team effort. If this defense keeps getting better by each team.

The league needs to get rid of Zone defense for good. thats about when it became unwhatchable for most fans. Young fans still love it of course because its being marketed directly to them and theyre too young to remember anything different.

ugh zone is the only reason for low scoring really. i hate zone defense and wish it were never introduced.
