Welcome to the forums. Why don't you think he's one of the fastest players in the league? There are 32 defensive coordinators in the league who would disagree with you.
When I think Randy Moss, I don't think "speed," I think "quickness." There is a difference... His quickness, hands and leaping ability, to me, are what gives defensive coordinators nightmares. (And I think there are 31 coordinators with nightmares. But the Vikings' defensive coordinator is probably happy he doesn't have to play against Moss.)

Moss is likely the fastest player in football....I read that while at Cris Carter's off season camp, after his rookie season, he ran on a treadmill at 23 miles per hour....if thats true, that is hauling some serious ass....
The fastest guys in the NFL are guys that don't play offense. The fact is, Moss is very fast but his leaping and quickness are also great. Moss isn't the best in any of these attributes, but he's certainly up there.
moss is one of the fastest and quickest and all that great stuff that is what makes him such a good wr.
Moss definitely isn't the fastest on the field, I think Kelly Campbell is faster and maybe Michael Bennett. But then again, those two are two of the fastest players in football. Bennett would have qualified as one of the top prospects on the men's track and field team. So is Moss one of the fastest in the league? Absolutely, but that's not where his talent stops. Other teams have neutralized his speed by playing a safety off 20 yards and shadowing a linebacker towards him for the cross as well as having a corner bump him at the line. Yet he still gets his catches and TD's. Simply amazing...
I doubt that kelly cambell and michael bennett are fastest players in the league. It is probably a huge tie between several people, most of which arent name players who lack actual football talent but got drafted sheerly for speed.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>bennett is really really fast i think he is definatly top 3 in the league maybe top 5</div> I remain doubtful.
