Im no mod, go ask mods to do that for you, w/e, if you don't want, I don't care.... thought it'd be funny, you know you don't gotta wear it forever, suggest somethin else then.
First half is over, Lakers are leading 44-36. The Lakers have got a huge boost from Luke Walton and have been able to spread the ball around offensively. They have gotten some easy layups and that has built their confidence. On the defensive end, they got a few good plays that they converted into easy baskets to build a lead toward the end of the first half. On the other hand, Detroit is getting out played. They have not shown their great defense, allowing the Lakers to get open shots for most of the first half. Detroit is not hitting shots on the other end either, which partially can be attributed to the Lakers' improved defense. Detroit is in a hole but should still be able to climb out. Rasheed did not play most of the first half (again) with foul trouble and should be able to provide some offense in the second half. Detroit will absolutely come back with some better defense and will try to keep the game close and eventually even it up.
the lakers played the last 5 minutes of the have great. Luke led the team with 5 assists, grabbed 3 boards and 7 points in just 12 minutes. with efficiency like that, they should forget about Devean . Kobe so far has played amazing defense leading the team whether it's getting the pistons frustrated with his on-ball defense, his 2 steals or getting the offensive foul call. Shaq never got as much touches as he did in the first game of the first half but he got a couple of buckets to slow the pistons momentum when they were on the verge of comeback. Karl is a soldier.
Shaq is disgusting the hell out of me in this game. He has 4 rebounds total in the game so far on 41 minutes.. and his last damn rebound was 2 minutes left in the FIRST QUARTER. How the hell can you not get one rebound for 33 minutes when you're ****ing 7'1 and 350POUNDS!?!??! He's also letting EVERY PISTON get inside. Last game he did the same thing but people didn't notice it just because he got it going inside, well he's also 6-16 from the damn field. 5 minutes left in the game and it's 75-all right now. If Shaq doesn't want to do anything just dont play him period. I hate it when a guy that big doesn't do s**t.
17 offensive rebounds by the Pistons is the stat of the night. Amazing effort by Big Ben and Prince on the glass. I have to question PJax rotation in this game. Luke Walton gave them so much off the bench in the 1st half and then PJax benched until late in the 2nd half. The way to beat the Pistons is to push tempo so they can't play the suffocating defense.
wow... Kobe, Kobe, Kobe... I'm speachless and that's pretty unusual..:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen ::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
you are NOT callin the deal off NO WAY no WAY! Kobe just forced an overtime, you are NOT callin it off like that, that's cheapass move, stick to the script like a man, Pistons gon lose tonite, plain and simple. I told you on my MAMA!
Yo yo yo what is this??? I smell Kobe made another unbeliavable clutch shot... just when all hope seems to be gone, he came thorugh for us. It's all tied 89... whenever I listen to 1410 AM KERN online, there's always pleasant surprise, but it's not over yet... OT is coming!!!
I've learned to never lose hope in the Lakers... and man you just can't give up if you got.. KOBE!!! Unbelievable clutch play by an unbelievable clutch player.. This is why I say he's the best player in the league. Not only is he a great scorer and defender, but he can hit those.. EDIT: Gary better watch out for his starting PG spot, Walton's gonna take it over..
HOW DID YOU LIKE THAT SHOT!!!!!!!????? KOBE IS FREAKING CRAZY! AND KOBEs HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND RIP HAMILTON GOT SCHOOLED LOL! IN HIS EYE
Hey it doesn't matter that they won although it will give them confidence. Guess where the next three games are??? detroit. The Pistons are still one of the best teams in the league and is the only team that I know that has 5 stars taht all help out. They will win in 5. HOPEFULLY.
Damn! Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn! That was a good game, although it felt like the wrong team won. Detroit came out and made it interesting in the second half. Billups was amazing in the 3rd quarter with 16 points and Rasheed did have a strong 3rd quarter, hitting consecutive shots. Shaq getting 5 fouls was huge, Pistons were able to go on an 8-2 run with him on the bench. Of course, the huge 3-point shots by Fisher and ultimately Kobe in the 4th quarter kept the Lakers in the game. I don't understand why you would not foul Shaq when he had the ball before he gave it to Kobe, but you can't second guess things like that. Lakers came out in overtime and took the game, Pistons just could not contend in OT. Would have been huge for the Pistons to go back to Detroit up 2-0. Now it will be real difficult to win without going back to L.A. because 3 in a row in the Finals is an achievement and I'm not sure if it can be done. We have a real series here.
Lakers lose three in a row in Detroit? don't think so. This is only my opinion, but the series will end in L.A. no matter what. I don't think they'll be able to win them all, but I surely wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers came out up 3-2 out of Detroit. Not being a "biased fan" as you guys like to call it, but the momentum has completely swung as we saw in the OT. Hopefully that will carry on to game 3.
Detroit really messed up on that Kobe shot by (1) Not fouling Shaq, and (2) playing Kobe straight up....that was amazing tho... Give Detroit credit...this is going to be the most exciting NBA Finals in a long time.
