Fron ESPN Insider: so legally I can't quote, but I can summarise. There was speculation that Perovic, a 7'2, 240 (and still growing) Serbian 19 year old would be forced to pull out of the draft as his club Partizan Belgrade wouldn't let him out of his contract. Apparently, this is a load of hogwash and the problem was Vlade Divac was vocally opposed to Perovic leaving, as along with Nenad Krstic going to the Nets would leave a huge hole at Partizan. Now, after meeting with Divac, Perovic has been given his blessing to keep his name in the draft. So why am I posting this in the Seattle forum? Because a lot of mocks I've seen have Perovic going around our pick, and he is one of the most promising young big men in Europe (he has already appeared on the Serbian national team). He would have to spend another season or two in Europe, but I wouldn't be totally against looking at him if we can garner a big man through trade, considering we have Collison to debut as well.
He looks like a pretty obvious pick for the Sonics, unless they really like Araujo or one of the other big men.
