Troy Hudson opted out of his contract (Because he feels he should make more than 2.1 Mil a year). We need a starting PG , and If I'm not wrong.. We have about $5 - $7 mil to spend ? I think we should sign him for let's say $5 mil for 1 season and re-sign him after next season(since Hill won't be there(hopefully) ) re-sign him for a good amount.. 8 years in the NBA? Career highs in points and assists are 35 and 15 If I'm not wrong..so the guy can score and the guy can pass you add his experience and decent defense? I think T-Mac would be Happy and that will take care of our PG problems.. PG - T-Hud/T-Lue/Reece Gaines SG - T-Mac/Stevenson SF - Keith Bogans/Pat Garrity/Hill* PF - Drew Gooden/2nd rounder/ZaZa C - Emeka Okafor/big chinese guy (if possible) and / or Andrew DeClerq(if not traded along with Juwan) What you guys think?
We should kept him the first time instead of letting him go. Also lets get of Jw he is too undersize and just blows a$$
Troy would be a nice pick up but there are a couple other guys I would want to see run the point in Orlando. Next year's free agency is going to be rich with point guards. Still, if Magic fails to sign/trade for a guard, Hill could play at 1... Still hoping Armstrong will be back in Orlando...
Troy would be alright. I would rather have others and I wouldn't want to give Troy more than 5 mil a year. We need a passing PG. Troy is mainly a shoot 1st PG. I would still take him though, because he kills Lue and Gaines.
I think Hudson would work there again. He had a good career at Orlando coming off the bench and he did prove that he can start during his first year at Minnesota.
