After watching Monday Night Countdown, I've decided that the most annoying talking head in the industry is Stuart Scott. I can't stand looking at his lazy eye and hear him speaking ebonics where he thinks it's cool, and then shift gears to act like he offers some incredible insight to the conversation. While I'm on my rant, I really dislike Michael Irvin because he screams constantly for the camera and everyone is so quick to forget his cocaine adventure in his career, yet they'll ask him questions about how to act properly as an NFL player on and off the field. Just a little hypocritic, don't you think? Now before someone throws the racial card (which I'm not), I would like to say the best in the industry is Tom Jackson. ESPN should give him more air time or even let him run the show on "Countdown". He offers the best insight and although I don't agree with all of his takes, I give him the most props. In the best anouncer catagory, I actually enjoy Chris Collinsworth. The worst, Paul McGuire and Joe Theisman: watch any broadcast with those two and just wait for the dumb statements fly, hell last week they practically wanted the Packers Bwae Jue in the Pro Bowl. I feel better now.....rant is over
Stuart Scott is what sells for ESPN. He is interesting, exciting, and funny. I disagree with your idea of him. I think he is the best on ESPN(right under Chris Berman). Collinsworth is good. But in regards to dumb statements, check out Monday Night Football. Madden and Michaels say some stupid crap. I know madden is the legend and everything, but he says stupid sh*t. Theisman is annoying too.
I would go as far as to say 75% of the people on this forum have more insight into the game of football than the announcers they use. Jockockracee sux

John Madden? I can't stand listening to him...it actually hurts. I don't mind most analysts and announcers, but Madden is bringing down Michaels. WHY CAN'T JOE BUCK ANNOUNCE FOOTBALL!!!

I have not met anyone who actually likes this guy and your the first. Someone recently showed me a Maxim magazine of the top 50most annoying people and he was in the top 25 so I'm not alone.
