"We want to look Tracy in the eyes and say, 'What do you want to do?' No matter what the agent is suggesting or not suggesting as to options for the kid," Vander Weide said. "At the end of the day, I think it's really important that both Rich and myself say, 'Tracy, tell us where your heart is, and we can work through it, whatever it is.' " Full Story
Great article Dirty South. I cant wait to hear Tracy McGrady's answer. I think his answer will really depend on what the Orlando Magic do in the offseason to get T some help, whether it be by trade or by draft.
We all can't wait on his anwser most definently. I just can't wait to see if he'll say some stupid ish.
i think tmac will give orlando every oportunity to improve the team and be on the path to at least an eastern conf. champ in the next few years. it is just whether orlando can/will spend money on who tmac wants and deal players who tmac doesn't want.
Kinda seems like T-Mac becoming the GM... Tracy should stay. If he moves to another team, he might not be as great as he is here in Orlando... "Rumor mill: The buzz among general managers was that the Dallas Mavericks were not protecting point guard Marquis Daniels, an Orlando native." Don't know that much about Daniels, but he seems like he might be a good pick-up for the point...
What could we give the Bobcats for him though. I would really love Daniels in a Magic uni. Tmac's decision WILL BE before the draft. He'd be stupid to leave though.(even though we had a really really really bad year) We have a bright future. We have the #1 draft pick and either salary cap room this year or next year(depending on if the Bobcats take a chance with Grant Hill) We also have Gooden, even though I have a feeling he will be gone. (less angry Kmart) I just hope that our organization doesn't screw us up.
I really hope the magic draft howard even if t-mac stays and if we trade the #1 pick it has to be for a big man or a good point I think, not a 2 or 3.
