    I wonder. Does anyone know what is the earliest a team has ever won a division, or clinched a playoff spot. Week 12 is insane, I wonder what the record is.

    The Bears did it in 1985 after 11 games and the 49'ers did it in 1997. The Packers almost did it in 10 weeks in 2002, but they lost to the Vikings and that prolonged the agony another two weeks.
