The dallas mavericks have said they are not protecting antoine walker if you were the gm would you take him or is he way to old I think i would because he was a allstar in the 2002-2003 season you cant get that bad in 2 years.
It's said to be very very very likely that the Bobcats won't pick up his contract since it's 14.6 million and basically half their total salary. Washington is leaving Stackhouse unprotected at a price of 7 million, and that would be a better pickup for the Bobcats salary wise, and would also make Wizards fans like me happy
No. Getting someone like him who is so capable for that much money and with so many faults isn't a great start for a season. He is so capable of doing better than he does, fact is he's lazy. He isn't as good at 3 pointers as he thinks he is, his ft ability is mediocre for a supposed great shooter. Plus he's supposed to be a great rebounder, both he and KVH and they are, except they're lazy, much like Shaq, they'd be averaging so much higher if they worked harder. I don't even need to mention about Shot Selection, Ballhogging and Turnovers. Seeing as that seems to simply define Walker's faults, why not go for NVE, Dampier or Malik Rose, they're available.
The only way the Bobcats would pick Walker is if another team is offering a good trade, and no other team is, so there is a 99.9% chance that he will not get picked up.
