<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Magic Johnson doesn't like what he sees from the Los Angeles Lakers, and he decided to speak up about it Saturday. ``I think the Lakers had a mind-set that was disrespectful to the Pistons. They thought it was going to be easy. That is not the case,'' Johnson said. ``Unless they come out and play very hard, with the same level of intensity as the Pistons, this series will be over.'' Johnson, a vice president and part-owner of the Lakers, was not displaying his trademark grin as he exited The Palace on Thursday night following the Lakers' 20-point loss in Game 3.</div> <div align="center">Full Story</div>
Good to see, Magic putting in his two cents. Magic is a highly honored player for a reason he know's whats best, and he's telling the young guys what there doing wrong..
It would be funny to see the Lakers showing no effort again, but of course they're going to own the Pistons in game 4. If not, it would be impossible to come back from a 3-1 deficit. I believe only 5 teams in history came back from that series lead and won the series.
If i were the Lakers,i'd definetly listen to one of the greatest NBA,and Laker Players of all-time Magic Johnson knows what he's talking about, and it's a good thing that a guy of his calibiur is speaking out..The Lakers could definetly thrive off from what he just said
Too bad... i guess the Lakers have to clean our their ears next time Magic speaks to them. It doesn't seem like they heard right. Wow...i never thought the Lakers could lose a deciding game like that....i guess the drama is going to have to stop here...unless they're saving their best for last, which i highly doubt.
theyll still win people. They gotb ack after the 0-2 in sa. then the two clutch shots. This playoffs belongs to THE CLUTCH TEAM
Jack---you can't handle the truth Truth is--- Pistons play harder Pistons are more athletic Pistons are hungrier Pistons play as a team Karl needs to retire, Shaq needs to lose weight, Kobe needs to find a real team, Gary needs to retire, Luke is a joke, and the other few lakers aren't even notable. See at next years finals, maybe http://www.soundclick.com/themalttones
