The Magic don't have a point guard. Think they wish they re-signed Chauncey Billups?

The Magic Kingdom has a meaner cast of characters to man the middle than the Magic roster. Think they'd take Shaq back?

If you're wondering what could have been in Orlando this season, look no further than the rosters of the teams in the NBA Finals, where three of the premier performers are ex-Magic men who got away.

This is a troubling track record for a team that could be about to make its biggest transaction yet -- Tracy McGrady for TBA.

Very interesting article, it's well worth the read.

Now I'll ask you guys - Is McGrady worth all of this? He isn't a leader, he doesn't seem to care about his team, and he has absolutely no loyalties towards Orlando whatsoever.

Before I comment, I'd like to hear from everyone else. (Most of you already know my opinion anyways)

    Nice read.
Here's what I think. McGrady is good, a great basketball player doesn't care to speak his mind(One of his biggest downfalls)and the Magic's franchise player. Now he wants to leave just becuase he feels that the Magic won't WIN anytime soon and feels the no one in the draft will help them out. Is this worth all of it. Absoulutely not.

I would trade McG to the suns for The Matrix and JJ that would give a great D player who can board and a guy who is going to devolpe into a preety good player for years to come

    Not a bad idea.

Sometimes it's fun to think about where Orlando would be had they not signed Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady. Theres so many different options and opinions on what our roster could look like - but in the end, would it be worth it? Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups, and Darrell Armstrong could potentially still be on the roster - three players who pour their heart out every night.

    Unlike McGrady.

Looking back on all of this, he definitely wasn't worth it. But, we have learned a few things from McGrady over the years:
    1) 5% of the NBA players are gay.
    2) It's not over until the final buzzer sounds (Comments regarding the 2nd round)
    3) It doesn't matter how many points you score, if you don't get your teammates involved, you still can't win.
    4) Loyalties mean nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Magic fan - but I was a fan before McGrady and I'll sure as hell be a fan after he leaves as well.

Bring back Jeff Turner and Nick Anderson [IMG]

To be honest. I would want to trade McGrady if it ment we could get an interesting core of players for him. If we got a small group of guys who can step in with what we have now. Id say yeah trade him. We also need to get rid of Grant Hill's salary. Its to much of a bear on us.
