based on the play of malone and payton. i love la but seriously so much hype about them both and they play like they are on the bulls. F*** Payton F*** Malone Kobe and Shaq Could Have done Better Alone!
GP is dissapointing. But Malone injury has really hurt them, I think they would be ahead if Malone could do what he was doing against Duncan and KG. But I still have faith in the Lakers.
oh, dont get me wrong, but i seriosuly think if there wasn't so much hype for both of them, then they would have gotten younger players that could stay in front of their man on D. i wanted payton and malone in the begging also. but not it just didn't seem worth it.

Fox, Fisher, George aren't good enough of a supporting cast to win it all.
if you put Malone and Payton on another team they would be team leaders, but 4 leaders on one team doesnt work out. The bulls are the best and if Malone and Payton were on any of the bulls roster then they would already be retired.

Malone keep KG contained in almost every game. Without him KG could have dominated, and lead the Wolves past the Lakers. Shaq and Kobe are great players, but they aren't good enough to get past the Pistons Alone.
