Forget LeBron. Forget Carmelo. Look who just might get a ring if the Pistons manage to win one more game, the second pick overall Darko Milicic .
Yeah, I was thinking about this earlier. I would want Darko to go for a post-game conference (assuming we win the championship) and be like "Well, LeBron and Carmelo might get more playing time, but who's got the ring?" I figured it all out, Darko is Detroit's good luck charm. As long as Darko is in the arena during the playoffs, the Pistons are able to compete. Go Darko!
yea. the pistons might win and they owe it all to darko. hes doing what lebron and carmeloo coudltn: leading his team to a championship

Karl Malone and Gary Payton combined are what? 555 years-0 championships? Seems like Darko is on track to be quite the NBA star.

LOL, now you mention it, i totally forgot he was on the team. Well good job darko with your "contributions to the team". Not lebron, not carmelo, but darko? who knew.
IMO this Carmelo-LeBron issue isn't even relevant to Darko's team success. When you talk about LeBron-Carmelo, it's all about their young great careers and how sensational they are as rookies. But when it comes to Darko who is also a rookie, well he never really appears in any rookie discussion hasn't he? Well, he HAS in a lot of discussions actually, but it doesn't help his cause. When you talk about "look who's gonna get the ring", it is all about NBA playoff teams and the Finals but definitely NOT rookies. This LeBron-Carmelo topic isn't relevant with the ring that Darko may get shortly... he is relevant with both LeBron and Carmelo strictly because they three are rookies, but they don't have much more in common beyond that.
Darko is the man with the masterplan. Darko is going to be the greatest player of all time. Lebron and Carmelo put up the numbers but they dont help their teams win like Darko does. Darko is the Human victory cigar
This thread has gone 9 posts and not a single person has realized that he constributed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the playoffs AND the regular season. You don't give someone credit and recognition for "winning" the championship when they didn't do jack on their part to win it. It's like saying Mengke Bateer won the championship last year with the Spurs. But he didn't do crap. Next thing you know he's posing his friggin ring in the SBC center when he was temporarily with the Raptors, while everyone actually gives him a standing ovation LOL. Bottom line is, a player that has contributed nothing for the championship has technically not won it.

I think the funniest part of this whole post is that Malone sold himself to the Lakers for a ring and he won't get it, but Darko will.
I'm guessing Darko's ring will feel kinda empty, seeing as he didn't contribute anything whatsoever. I know I would feel that way.

Doesn't matter if he didnt make a huge contribution on the court, hes a member of the team. for all you know ben wallace or somebody had some huge emotional crisis at some point this year and if darko hadnt of sat down and talked to him one day he wouldntve been able to perform as well as he has to win it all. Obviously thats just something i just made up but im just saying you never know how significant someone has contributed to a team winning a title. you never know how important their presence or support or personality was to the team behind the scenes. Hell if I was a guy who played garbage time for an NBA team for a few months and then got realeased and they went on and won the championship and I got a ring I'd be psyched!! I could die a happy man. Think how many people dream of getting those rings and never do. u work really damn hard to get to the NBA, its just too bad every player cant get one.
I actually forgot that he's on the roster Wallaces play harder every game cause they don't want to lose a starting spot to Milicic, that's why he's on the roster...Sixers would need Milicic next season, then Dalembert and Thomas will play like Wallaces
Darko does anyone remember at the start of the season he missed his first shot being a layup and didnt score for his first 9 games. Lebron and Carmello have averaged over 20ppg and darko has done nothing and he is probably gonna be rewarded with a championship! How did detroit get his pick anyway?

I don't mean to be an a-hole but I have a little pet peeve when use words incorrectly (like literaly). Darko, by contributing nothing but garbage time, did in fact, technically win it simply by being on the Pistons roster.
