I hope next year if Sheed comes back it can be Spurs vs. Pistons in the finals. 2 great defensive teams.

Major? They had no superstar period and still managed to dominate the Lakers the way they did. Congradulations to Larry Brown and the Deroit Pistons. The Pstons also managed to place their mark in history and I'm not talking about their defense. They became the first team in NBA History to win all three middle home games in the NBA Finals. Last night was also the first time they won a chamionchip at home.

What's there to say? My Lakers were lucky that we didn't get swept pretty much. First half, I thought we came out strong. Slava started hitting outside shots at a consistent pace, got out to an early seven point lead, kept my hopes up. But unfortunately he went back to his old ways, the team self-destructed once again, and Detroit is the new NBA champs. Congratulations to Detroit. From day one of the NBA season until now, they always believed they were a good team from the beginning, they defied the odds when nobody thought they'd beat such an excellent team like the Lakers, and they believed in their hearts that they could be fortunate enough to hoist that trophy. And most importantly they were never afraid or intimidated much like the other Eastern Conference teams that seem to crawl under their shells when the Lakers are in town for the Finals. To me, that's what makes a champion. To all the true Piston fans excluding the bandwagoners here, enjoy this moment. Because you'll never know when the next celebration will come again.

To all my Laker fans: It was a great first season at JBB. I enjoyed making the previews for each and every Laker game alongside Kobe 8 Ball aka QRich3, and discussing Laker basketball to the fullest, but with major offseason changes about to begin for this Laker team, all I have to say to all of you is don't ever stop representing the Purple and Gold. We will be back someday and there will be a year when we'd return to promenience. Enjoy the offseason.

I hope that won't happen, games would be boring as hell! No scoring what so ever.Im very glad to see a east team winning a championship.

62 - 57 would be the final scores if this series were a reality. The league would'nt let that happen.

I don't know if I could even watch that series. Man, if that were to happen, ratings would take a shot in the foot. That would be terrible for pubilicity reasons. No one would watch. It would be boring, and, no one wants to watch two defensive teams go at it.

congrats pistons, they deserved it way more than any other team. they took all the criticizm that the lakers would sweep them and what not, but it pretty much went the opposite way. detroit pistons were the better team by far, not even close. the only part of the game the lakers could control was game 2 in overtime. ben wallace was everywhere last night.

A 2 defensive team battle would be cool, i mean Detroit vs. Indiana was awesome and they were both amazing defensive teams.
