Excellent move for both teams. The Magic would most likely have Artest, Al Harrington, two future SUPERSTARS, Okafor, and a promising coach in Davis. I doubt that would get them atleast past the first round, but that would atleast make them get past the eastern conference finals once chemistry improves and the time flies. The Pacers would have two elite superstars, and they would arguably be a contender for the defending champions, and they might have some sort of chance of winning the championship.
1st person I have ever heard say promising coach in Davis. (other than our GM) Tmac is an amazing player still. I can't believe you said he's not that good.(not sure who said it) I would do all 3 of those deals in a heartbeat.
If I were the Orlando GM I'd take any of those trades in a heartbeat. But then I don't think it's a very good deal on Suns' end because they already have a shot at getting Kobe and I just think Johnson & Marion are worth more than T-Mac. Even the Houston I'd have to consider a lot, because he could cause problems with his shooting with the development of Yao. I also think three starters is too much for one superstar, especially if one of the three is a starting all-star pg (eventhough he isn't the best SG in the west it still counts for something!) .. The Indiana deal however, I like a lot for both ends. The combo of O'Neal and T-Mac sounds amazing, and all that team would need is a new design for their jerseys and they're set!! Same for the Magic, because that would give them an instantly improved defensive lineup, and I believe that is the right direction to go when rebuilding a team.
Suns could possibly get Tmac and Kobe together. I agree about the Pacers deal. I really don't see the Rockets trading away an all-star(franchise), great role player(Mobley) and a nice defensive center(for the Magic). Probably a combo of 2 of the 3 and possibly their pick, but if they accept it you have to jump on it.
