As Larry Bird(white boy) said we need more white superstars in the NBA, well I'm just going to say foreign guys are white, but the mavs are the white team bird is talking about. The mavs not only white people but they are the global team of the nba. America, canada, germany, virgin islands, france, and more. So does Bird have respect for the mavs.

That's not true, I feel we have plenty. It's just so hard to come by, any true superstar who can do it all and do it well. That's what the '80s had, Magic Johnson and Bird proved versatility cannot be defined by color. This is true even for today's league, so many Europeans are coming into the League and becoming draft prospects and most are young and get this, "upcoming" superstars in the making. We even have ones who specialize and do well as of the present. Peja, Dirk, good rebounders and pure shooters, much like the Asians except for the rebounding and vert department. Basketball is international no matter what, both TD and 'Melo are half Puerto Rican.
