^This trade will not happen unless Artest is added. First of all the Magic will not give up T-Mac for two role players (Harrington and Bender) and a broken down PG (Tinsley). Second of all the salaries have to match up and adding Artest's salary would even it out.
It seems Indiana has turned down the 4 players that Orlando want. They are still very interested in dealing for Mcgrady but not for what the Magic requested.
Well, I don't see us making a lop-sided trade like that... I mean... it would be the best outside/inside scoring duo in the league next season (Shaq and Kobe are done), but I don't wanna lose Artest ***AND*** Harrington... I could accept losing Artest... but I'd hate the trade if it was Harrington, too, b/c we would need him to replace Artest for T-Mac and Harrington WOULD FINALLY get the starting position he's wanted. SIDENOTE: The last thing the Pacer's need is another player w/ a huge contract that doesn't contribute that much in Juwan Howard. And please correct me if I'm wrong (still not sure) but isn't Howard AND McGrady fighting (verbally) right now? B/c if it's true, why would the Pacers want 2 players from a team that are fighting?

I know in a couple of interview's he made comments about a certain player having no heart and not playing d, he didn't say any names but they said he was directing the comments toward gooden.
tmac in orlando will not work. tmac is a great player but this is just gunna be like the lakers. instead of kobe and shaq its gunna b tmac and jermaine. they are gunna get sick of each other and demad trades. now la one 3 titles with them but it wont happend for indiana becasue tmac isnt as good as kobe and jermaine isnt as dominant as shaq
Wrong , Wrong , Wrong. This will not be anything like Shaq and Kobe. Tracy and Jermaine are great freinds and Jermaine has acknoledged he would have to take a backseat to T-Mac

Tmac is way better.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A trade involving Orlando guard Tracy McGrady appears imminent, but the Indiana Pacers don't appear to be his likeliest destination. Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh said Saturday he has not talked with Magic general manager John Weisbrod since early last week, and that no formal offer has been made. "If there's going to be interest in doing a deal with us, he's going to get back to me," Walsh said of Weisbrod. "He hasn't done that. I don't know where it stands." </div> Link Seems like T-Mac doesn't seem likely to come to Indiana after all, huh? Thank god...
with the pacers not getting what they wanted in the draft, they may up their ante for tmac. I was waiting to see if the pacers could trade up for luke jackson, then tmac was off the boards for the pacers.

Like Tracy plays D, he can't judge him when he doesn't either play D........I'm glad we drafted David harrison ( but he got an Artest temper, so watch out!) and Rashad wright good too.
