    <div align="center">Northwest Division:
    Denver Nuggets,
    Minnesota Timberwolves,
    Portland Trail Blazers,
    Seattle SuperSonics,
    Utah Jazz</div>

Under the new plan, teams will play divisional opponents four times each (two home games/two road games), conference opponents outside the division three or four times each and opponents outside the conference two times each (one home game/one road game).

The Wolves will be moved to the Northwest Division next season. The team will be playing in a division with teams like the Denver Nuggets, the Portland Trailblazers, the Seattle Supersonics and the Utah Jazz. Denver have a young group of players with a player named Carmelo leading them. Portland have the reigning MIP, Zach Randolph, and other players like Theo, etc. Utah will have the money to sign free agents, Andrei Kirilenko and Jerry Sloan coaching them. Seattle has Ray Allen, Rashard, rookie Nick Collison back from season ending injury and more. The Wolves have the Big 3 and just played in the Western conference title. I think the Wolves will have the biggest chance of winning the division title. But we still have to wait and see what happens in the offseason.

So what do you think will happen to Wolves and will they win the Northwest division title?

Wow looking at the teams in this division the t-wolves would dominate the division with there current roster pitted against the other teams besides the nuggets none of those teams even made the playoffs and the nuggets were beat by us 4-1 so unless they do some major improvements during the off season the t-wolves will take this division easy alll the compatition they had is out the rockets, spurs, and mavs are all not in this division I want to see how this affects the playoff formate though considering the top seeds should have home court does this mean only one home court team will be based on record and the others all based on winning there division?

This is a no-contest. T-Wolves are going to get home court in the Playoff's for the next couple of years. The only team that MIGHT be able to pull of an upset, is the Blazers.

I don't think any team will put up a fight for the Northwest title especially against a team like minnesota. The denver nuggets are a young team so i would expect them to make an uprise in the division in the next 3-4 years along with the trailblazers who have rising (and regaining) stars on the team.

Quite frankly, Portland will give us a helluva run if they stay healthy. They're solid defensively, with the exception of Randolph, Theo's a great shotblocker, & they'll get alot of help next February when they trade the expiring contracts of Damon Stoudamire & Dale Davis.

I think they could give us some trouble but staying healthy isnt there problem its staying out of jail they always seem to have one player in trouble with drugs or pot or assault damon stoudamire got caught with drugs last year wallace was arrested when he was a blazer ruben patterson and randolph have issues when they got into a fight in the locker room they need to trade some of there more problemed players this off season to give us any trouble

Well of course there will be alot of offseason changes with these rosters especially the Sonics seeming that everyone ontheir roster pretty much seems to be on the trade block. But this is my early division projection....

    1. Timberwolves
    2. TrailBlazers
    3. Nuggets
    4. Sonics
    5. Jazz

I think the timbewolves win the division but not as easy as some people may think. The blazers will have one of the better frontlines in basketball with Zach's offense at the power forward spot. And Theo defense at the center. they will probably use Reef in a trade to add to their backcourt/perimeter depth. I think they are going to become a very legimate playoff caliber team.

I think the Nuggets are going to have anoher very solid season but I dont think they will sneak up on as many teams as they did last year.OPnce teams figred out during the 2nd half that they were pretty much the west coast verison of the Nets, A team that basically needed to get out in the open court inorder to score, the Nuggets struggle when teams played to shut down their running game. They are probably going to have to add another big scorer in the half court to improve as a team. But until then I have them finishing a solid third.

the Sonics are finishng 4th as of right now because I think they were a pretty solid team with .500 potenial this season. But they had major injuries to Ray Allen, Brent Barry etc which really set them back. I expect they wil look to add some size to a team with so many jumpshoters which is going to make them a better team.

The Jazz finish last for similiar reason as the Nuggets they snuck up on a lot of teams early in the season. They are pretty much a scrappy team that wins on energy & effort. I think teams have now figured that the way you beat the Jazz is by matching their energy level. Once you match their energy leel then their lack of scoring starts to show. So it will probably be a muchmore difficult season for this team.

I think that the Wolves, Blazers, Nuggets will all finish a healthy margin above .500 and pretty sure bets for the playoffs next year. Sonics & Jazz are probably going to hover right around the .500 mark or maybe a couple games below or above .500 but neither will probably make the playoffs without major offseason chances.

It will be hard to predict because the teams will make some moves in the offseason. So we still don't know what the teams will look like at the start of the season. Utah have a lot of money to spend. The Sonics will probably change the team by making some moves. The teams will improve.
