Yeah definately needs to return to this team next year. I just wonder how Flip will handle the rotation next year when everyone is healthy. Everytime Wally came back from an injury this year you seen Freddie role & minutes decrease. But the wolves need to keep both him & Wally effective at the same time. I'll never say that you can have to many shooters but thats the way it seemed when Wally, Thud, Cassell, & Freddie were all in the rotation together this year. So Flip going to have to find away to rotate to keep everyone involved & effective.

If he does come back next year he will have a rough time finding any minutes during a season filled with injuries and players not being able to play long minutes because they were hurt hoiberg averaged under 20 minutes a game even less in the playoffs with the return of hudson the break out star ofthe 2002-03 playoffs and a healthy cassel and spree and wally he will average very few minutes if any also cant forget about that rookie who didnt play this year ebi he will be looking for playing time next year too I beleive he is the still on the roster so he may finish a t-wolve but it will be as a bench player with few minutes.

I totally disagree with Freddie not getting alot of minutes next year. He's a solid jumpshooter, plays solid to great defense & is one of the three smartest ballplayers on the team, ranking right alongside KG & Spree. You CREATE time for a player like that.

Besides, I think it's more likely than ever that Wally will get traded this summer. I'm not advocating it but it just makes alot of sense because of all of Wally's injuries & because alot of teams are looking for top quality shooters.
That makes him a hot commodity that might be our best option for improving our team.

Now this I like. Someone who knows and recognizes Hoiberg's great defensive presences, apart from Hassell of course. Not to mention his effort, man this guy has just as much hustle as Madsen. Remember in the normal season when he went after the ball and flipped into the stands? Now that's heart. His offense isn't shabby either, he's our version of Steve Kerr, only a lot more dimensional with the defense. Stay Hoiberg, you belong.

Hoiberg will get his share of minutes. Hoiberg is a great shooter because of playing with Reggie and Mullin, he plays good defense ( a underrated defender) and smart like TWolfFanatic said. He was very important when Wally got injured in the playoffs and played great ball for the team. But Flip has to find a rotation where players like Trenton, Wally, Hoiberg, Spree and Ebi need to get solid minutes.

All agreed, hes a great defnsive player and is smart, and has had big offensive games being a good 3 pt shooter, I wouldnt like to see Hoiberg leave, not sure if hes a better plauyer that wally tho

well here is why I say he will average few minutes true he may be a good defensive player and a good three point shooter but unless they trade wally or someone the rotation will just not allow him to average more that 25 minutes a game probable less because look at this statistic http://www.nba.com/playerfile/fred_hoiberg...x.html?nav=page look at his 2003-04 minutes per game he averaged 22.7 minutes a game in a season were players like hudson and wally were out for a while with them back those numbers would most likely take a hit but yes he is a good vetern and would be good to be on the team
