www.draftcity.com has Jefferson at #9 currently. He has one of those tags that says his stock has risen, but even if it has, i wouldn't have expected to have risen all the way to #9. Do all of you feel that draftcity is correct? Obviously that everyone here has most likely not seen any of his work outs, but i just didn't think he would rise to #9 at all. I'm just very surprised at seeing this.
Ya i think thats way too high... that draft has Biedrins and Harris really low, and Kevin Martin first round? O_O
yes, biedrins and harris both did absolutely horrible in their workouts according to draftcity, who i trust becuase its a realgm site. it says harris doesnt have the abillity to play with big names like jameer and gordon.

Biedrins has been living on hype for the past few months, and is a lot more raw than scouts thought. Jefferson lacks a good basketball IQ, but his physical gifts and his raw level of ability make him a very attractive prospect. He has an NBA body, his measurements were huge (both height and wingspan) and he has almost as much upside as Dwight Howard. I'm rooting for him to be available at 12 when Seattle pick - exactly what we need, a guy who plays close to the basket and has a nasty streak. Devin Harris is slipping at the moment, simply because he can't keep up with guys like Gordon, Livingston and Jameer Nelson in his workouts.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">You didn't know about Kevin Martin? The guy killed in workout and in Chicago and basically everyone has him first round now or at least should.</div> Kevin Martin decided to forgo the Chicago pre-draft camp. People say that hurt his stock more than anything. I believe Al Jefferson is top fifteen worthy and someone can make a case for him being top ten worthy. If Dwight Howard can go top three then I don't see why Jefferson can't go top ten because Jefferson in reality isn't all that far behind Howard. The high schooler that people really should be keeping an eye on is Josh Smith. At the Suns workout they actually had to extend the device that measures vertical leap for the first time. The final measurement ended up being something like 37.5 inches I think. Not too shabby for a 6-8 prospect.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kevin Martin decided to forgo the Chicago pre-draft camp. I also think Jefferson is top 15 and possibly top 10 worthy, the boy's got some skills.
I'm just going off of what I read. I read that he decided to forgo the Chicago camp and it hurt his stock on the eyes of some scouts. I haven't paid enough attention on his situation to say I'm completely for sure.
All I have to say is Al Jefferson is a F'in monster. He averaged 40 ppg., and around 20rpg., ans like 5bpg.
