So Hovan was not even active for the game - a healthy scratch in favor of two rookies. Sad days for Hovan, you could tell he was steaming the whole game. He already put his house up for sale, he is so gone after the season is over. It's sad, he was supposed to be center of a strong core of d-linemen. What the heck happened to him?! [IMG]

Do you think anyone will pick him up and give him another shot? Maybe Dennis Green?

No Dennis Green won't give him a shot either. I think he'll be picked up by some team, but I give him a snowball's chance in hell to actually do something with another team.

The Vikings babied him for a long time. He just doesn't have whatever it was that made him successful his first year.

I also hate to say it, but I'm glad they finally scratched him.

Given the state of DT's for Miami, I'd sign Hovan just for shits & giggles. Of course, I'd also sign Damione Lewis when the Rams cut him

I hope for the funny situation where Hovan would sign with the Packers... oh I would LOVE that, hehe

You know what would be funnier if the Cardinals signed Hovan and Bennett and hired Tice as offensive coordinator, because there is no way he's comming back, and Cardinals beat the living crap out of the Vikings in the 2006 playoffs.

Being a Vikings fan, that would not be funny. It would, however, be ironic [IMG]

The way the Packers's D-Line depth is, we could actually probably use Hovan. Ugh...
