I read somewhere that the spurs are looking for someone to backup tony parker at the point after losing kerr and claxton the way anthony carter, jason hart, charlie ward etc. performed. If sebastian telfair drops down and is still available at no.28 does anyone think the spurs would pick him? maybe just wishful thinking and dont know if hed fit into the pop system.
I think sebastian telfair is going to be a good PG but its unlikely that he will drop 28 spot also the Spurs arent going to look for a PG i think they are more interested in a C. but you never know if he slips down to 28th then there is a good chance for the Spurs.

It'd be a crime to take someone like him who's not really all that ready for the league mentallyand physically. He did it out of love for his family, sure we've lost those guys, but Parker's really strong and for a PG has some good endurance on him. As for a backup to relieve him, we could easily pick up some of the free agents that're becoming available. Maybe you should try to get Brent Barry to replace Bowen if he is to leave, he plays decent defense and can compensate with his good vision, offense and passing ability. He probably wouldn't mind being benched. Lastly why we would we need Telfair, you need good scorers since the Spurs are a defensive orientated team you need sparks off the bench like Rose and Manu.
Telfair isnt what the Spurs need , I heard he has a horrible shot. What killed us this yr was our inability to make the open shot...the Spurs are going after shooters and Telfair isnt that. I heard on mock drafts that the Spurs would probably take 5' 8" Nate Robinson out of Washington with the 28th Pick...Carlisemo really likes his game.
I've watched a few UW games being a Washingtonian myself.. Robinson is a HYPER ATHLETIC point guard. Ridiculous hops. But I didn't think that shooting was his strong suit either..
It could happen Telfair down to 28th pick, yup could happen. Afterall my boy Jamaal Tinsley dropped down to 27th pick and look at him, just his momma passing(RIP) and other personal problems is what got him off track of his career. Tinsley is a great point gaurd arguably the best after JKidd, and Starbury.
