He would be a super fit in the triangle as a pass first point guard who will knock down the open shot, and he is as unselfish as they come. Shaq would love playing with this bloke, too, and he would be a great mentor for someone like Luke Walton who possesses many of the same strengths in his game that Brent does.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting RiverspoonJones:</div><div class="quote_post">Sign-and-trade for Slava.</div>
The sonics front office must be on drugs. Contrary to popular belief, Brent Barry is Seattle's best player. They need to keep him before anybody else. I just heard that Shaq demanded a trade and as always seattle needs a 5 in the worst way. Seattle should pursue him but not trade Barry. As for your comment RiverspoonJones the last thing the sonics need is another underachieving big man. They definitely don't need another Baker type.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iron Shiek:</div><div class="quote_post">So much for those rumors, considering the Lakers are officially done running the triangle offense.</div> They're done full stop. Would think Brent would rather go to the Clippers than the Lakers now (strangely enough, Brent and the Clippers is a perfect fit).
