Everyone thinks the Eagles are gods gift to football, but they are only good cuz they have the easiest division and sheduel. They don't even have anyone in their division over 500 but them. So state your opinion
I'm not so sure that the Eagles are so overrated as much as the rest of the NFC is average. There aren't as many powerhouses in the NFC as AFC. The division is full of underachievers, but let's not get too down on the Eagles. They may not be the best team in football, but they are definitely top 10.
well...i think they are a good football team, overated, prolly. because they have been to the NFC championship how many years in a row? plus homefield advantage? i mean...it is expected for them to win..really...i mean if they are playing like they are, its not like WOA!!! THE EAGLES WON!!!! the best team ever! lol i think that they are a good team, and that they are on their way to another nfc championship unless they choke. or untill a weakness is exposed...the eagles are a good team and i think they are overated. or they are too praised! thats it!

Eagles arent over-rated, they're just chokers. :cheesey: As far as too praised goes, yep I agree with that statement. And they are "good" but not "great" yes that too is true.
I don't think the eagles are overrated at all. No doubt that the NFC is by far the weaker conference right now, but the Eagles ARE the best team in the NFC. The only team they lost to with all starters was to Pittsburg and Philly did beat some very good teams (Baltimore, Minnisota, Carolina). They are brilliant on defence and good enough on offence to beat any team in the league. I say they go at least 11-5 if they were an AFC team.
No the eagles aren't overrated Tarrel Owens is (I know the eagle fans will kill me) I am not saying T.O. is a terrible player but he gets way too much credit for what McNabb remember how they go to the superbowl...without T.O.

Welcome torch, about the Eagles thing. I don't think they are overrated. It's just that in the NFC their are teams that are underachievers you can call them and others that are the ones that stand out, like the Eagles. They aren't gods, heck they aren't even a dynasty! I'll give them another chance next season and if they make it and their conference has toughened up, they wouldn't be overrated, but if they do not make it and their conference is still crappy, sure they're overrated, only for that season that is. Now the T.O thing. I, personally do not like T.O. It's just his additude in the games he plays, especially with the Ravens. But I can give up a counterarguement by the fact that he is one of the leading recievers so I will just leave it at that.
TO does have a shit attitude, and there is a lot of hype surrounding him as a player. I dont think hes over-rated though. Much like Randy Moss, he has all the skill in the world but the "Me first" attitude handicaps him. There wouldnt be a team in the NFL who wouldnt want TO if he could just lose that attitude, because he is one hell of a WR.

That isnt the case it takes a lot of work to get to the final game of the season, and no not just any team can win one, it takes a certain kind of team to win the SB. It takes a very skilled team, great coaching, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart to get to the SB game and actually win it too. Thats why what the Patriots have been doing is so impressive.

Based on the results of last season, I rank the Eagles in a tie for 2nd place, along with every other team in the league that didnt win the Super Bowl, thats also a 31 way tie for 32nd....never forget this, "Winning isn't everything, Its the only thing"...V.L. himself....
There is no way the eagles are overrated...they are a very good all around football team...shit the colts are the ones that are Overrated...
