Complete is different then the most talented or most athletic IMO the most COMPLETE players in the league are one for sure Kevin Garnett and another Tim Duncan and last one believe is T-Mac.

I cant say shaq is a complete player because all he does is sit under the rim and over power everyone to the basket. Besides that he cant hit a jumper to say his life. Not to mention his horrible free throw game. So a guy with no mid range jumper if any at all no free throw he cant be considered complete.

Kevin Garnett can hit the free throw, mid range jumper, has a great post up game, and can hit the occassional three if the clock is running out and he is forced into a shoot it up situation. Also he can pass probable the best passing power forward imo in the nba. He plays defense on every play even after the whistle blows he wont let a guy that a free shot at the basket. Has proven with a little help is a definite title contender and knows how to make his teammates better and lead a team with a great attitude and work ethic. This right here is a true player to model your kid or your self after.

Tim Duncan not one of my favorite players probable my least favorite all star player in the nba, but I got to give the man his props. He won back 2 back mvps, has a good mid range jumper shoots roughly 70 % from the line but makes them if they matter. Can pass great and run and move swiftly. Has great bball IQ and can rebound, block, and basically be a dominate player.

Then Tmac this guy has to me seemed to add a new demention to his game every year in the nba he can make incredable dunks. He has a more than decent three point shot shoots incredable from the line. IMHO makes his teammates better by his mear presence on the court.WIll call for the ball in the end of the game and has been a proven all star player in this league if he had a little more help like Kobe had from shaq I believe he would be the one being compared more often to MJ. Some people say he is not a leader or he has a bad work ethic, but when he gets on the court he shoots lights out. 27 points back 2 back scoring titles I think is accomplishments speak for them selves.

    PF: Kevin Garnett
    C: Shaquille O'Neal

Everybody say Kobe and T'Mac shouldn't be in the same team, but I like to see it happening.

well i would say shawn marion (obviously) but i'll agree with the majority and say garnett. you can't say he really lacks anything in any area, at least none that i know of.

i dont believe this thread was meant for you to put together a team, i think its just merely asking who are the most complete players in the game. There are not complete centers in NBA if you ask me. If you consider Duncan a center, then he'd probably be the closet, but even w/ duncan there are a few things this guy can't do. The only player who can do everything at an average or better than average level is KG. Kobe is close, but he don't got a really good post game. I know he's a guard and all, but to be truly complete, you should have every aspect of the game in your game.

You think so? You think LeBron will be better than KG next year(or at any point in his future career)?
    We'll see...

Well Garnett can really do it all and he is a hel of a player, Duncan, O'Neal(jermaine), Webber (all of them PF's and hell great players)can do a lot of stuffs as well but simply KG can do anything beyond average. There are a lot of guards like Kobe and centrs like Divac who can do a lot but simply nat all and not as good as KG and the rest...
You could actually make a starting 5 out of PF's only (Philjacksonsux) it ould sound like: Nowitzki,Webber,Garnett, O'Neal, Duncan________ hell of a team eh???

Iverson, no, not complete. Good scorer, yes, good shooter, no. Last season, yes, I realize he was hampered by injuries, but he had a fg% if 38% at the time. Plus, he doesn't play all that great of defense, and again, I realize he steals the ball a lot, but, stealing is about timing. He's also not a great team player at all. He's a ballhog to say the least. When you average 28 ppg and the next highest is something like 11, not good. He also is a bad leader on the court, which is why they have Snow though. But, I don't personally think he is a good all around player. He can score, but, in order for him to get like, 30 points, he has to take 30some-odd shots. I will say that he is a good player, but, all around, no.

Webber's nt much of a complete player, or at least not anymore
Vlade divac was never a complete player. Vlade is a washed up old man who takes 24 seconds just to get down to the other side of the court. Vlade is just known for being a smart player, who can outsmart most other players with his passing and set up some of the Kings offense. But overall Vlade is just pretty old and lazy, who you can tell loves to sit on the bench and BS with the other players, and would rather go home, collect his paycheck, sit down wit his bottle of Vodka and watch soap operas
