I think a PG might be a good idea also, particularly one with shooting ability, so Sebastian Telfair is kind of out of the question. If he were to drop and wasn't available, I'd say Ben Gordon. Too bad he's gonna be high ranked and taken by some other team, although he's more like a SG when it comes to the NBA.

Deltonte West might be good, he played alongside Jameer Nelson so he ought to have some good skills and some intelligence about him. How about someone who can compensate whenever Miller and Artest are scoring badly, any suggestions?

I keep on saying that I think Chris Duhon should be selected by the Pacers in the first round. He is a good PG who can shoot, defend and control the tempo of the game. He fits Rick Carlisle's style of play to a T.

    According to NBA.com/pacers:

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Among the names linked to the Pacers in various published mock drafts are: Peter Ramos, a 7-4, 260-pound, 18-year-old center from Puerto Rico; Ha Seung-Jin, a 7-3, 300-pound center from South Korea; Beno Udrih, a 6-4 point guard from Slovenia; Sasha Vujacic, a 6-7 combo guard from Slovenia; Viktor Khryapa, a 6-8 small forward from Russia; Sebastian Telfair, a 5-11 point guard from New York (and a high school product); Delonte West, a 6-4 shooting guard from St. Joseph?s; David Harrison, a 7-foot center from Colorado; and Darius Rice, a 6-10 small forward from Miami (FL).

that Darius Rice dude reminds me too much of JB... HUGE amount of potential, but that's just it... potential

I'm all for potential... but, I just don't want another constantly injured JB on the team...

I really like the West, dude... but yeah, height might be a problem

If those foreign guards from Europe are anything like Peja... I say take them IMEDIATELY if they're available :P :P

One last thing... since Foster had become a very good imitation center (bet next year he'll have atleast a 10/12 season), wouldn't it be all right to take one of those 2 foreign centers (since the 2 TRUE centers we have don't exactly... er... play), if they're still available, and turn them into good centers after a couple of years as a sort-of project. They're both only 18... so it would be VERY SIMILAR to Yao Ming, except, the centers would have more potential since Yao didn't start until a couple years after these 2 guys are going into the NBA. Just a suggestion.

^What those centres are lacking are actual fundementals something that Yao had for his whole career. It is not just a case of pick the biggest guy possible and see if he pans out. It's more of a case of having the patience to spend 5 years on a project that may never pan out.

The only sad thing about the pacers drafting players, is like other teams in the NBA, they don't play their new drafted players....look at James Jones! The kid got like 10 minutes in all. I hope that the player they are going to draft this time, is going in the rotation.....atleast 10 minutes.
On www.draftcity.com I saw a good player:http://www.draftcity.com/benoudrih.htm He is just what they need.

Duhon, I'm a Duke fan so that helps my decision but he is a good leader and defender, hes not exactly the best shot but he hits em when you need it

"The Wizards would prefer to move out and a guy like Al Harrington would be good trade bait. If the Pacers wind up picking here, look for Livingston to land in Indiana."

I got this from espn's mock draft, i would love to have livingston in indiana
