I copied this off of the Sixers forum . Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 44-38 Playoffs?: Yes Seed: 5th How Far Do They Go?: Eliminated Second Round Awards: MVP Vince Carter MIP Chris Bosh Team ROY The First Round Pick Team Stats: 87 PPG 45 RPG 4 BPG 7 SPG 18 TOPG What are your thoughts? **This is based on the team we have now.**
Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 46'36 Playoffs?: Yes Seed: 4th How Far Do They Go?: Eliminated Second Round Awards: ROY The First Round Pick and hopefully bosh can get MIP Team Stats: 94 PPG 43 RPG 4 BPG 8 SPG 15 TOPG basically if Toronto can/will get a point guard, he will run and get everything running making everyone better. I also hope that with the new coach and management, the motive changes into a transition game along with great defense, sorta like New Jersey
Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 44-38 Playoffs: Yes Seed: 6th How Far Will They Go: Second Round Awards: None Team Statistics: 88 PPG, 41 RPGB, 3.5 BPG, 4.5 SPG, 12 TOPG

Why does everyone think that the Raptors would wind up with more than 41 wins? Last season, only 5 Eastern Conference teams had a .500 record or better, and if you look at the rosters of those teams, does it look like the roster we have now is better than the rosters of those teams? Going from a team that won 28 games in one season to one that wins 45 the next season is impossible, especially since no major roster changes are made. Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 37-45 Playoffs: Yes Seed: 8th How Far Will They Go: Swept In First Round Awards: Carter MVP, Bosh MIP Team Statistics: 92ppg, 39rpg, 18apg
Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 43-39 Playoffs?: Yes Seed: 6th How Far Do They Go?: Eliminated Second Round Awards: If Marshall stays 6th man of the Year, and maybe our rookie will get ROY, our rookie will also make one of the rookie teams, and Carter All NBA Third Team Team Stats: 95 PPG 42 RPG 6.1 BPG 8.2 SPG 14.1 TOPG Hey streetball, you know 18 turnovers a game is a little much especially for a team scoring only 87 points a game, thet shouldn't be getting enough posessions to do that. Also the league high turnovers a game last year was only 16.7.
Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 42-40 Playoffs?: Yes Seed: 6th How Far Do They Go?: Eliminated 1st Round Awards: Vince Carter ALL NBA First Team, MIP Chris Bosh Team Stats: 90 PPG 42 RPG 4 BPG 5 SPG 16 TOPG
I still think its a bit too early to see how far we can go without a coach and how unstable things are right now, but heres my shotfor now:, BTW is this the Carter as Team MVP, or league MVP? because that seems a bit optimistic Team Raptors Record 40-44 Seed highest: 5th; more likely: 6th How Far Eliminated in Second round Awards Vince Carter: ALL NBA SECOND
Team: Toronto Raptors Record: 35-47 Seed: 7th Play-offs:yes How Far: Eliminated second rnd Awards: Vince Carter All NBA first team, MIP Bosh Team Stats: 85 PPG 40 RPG 5 BPG 6 SPG 11 TOPG

I thought I already posted here, odd... Record: 42-40 Seed: 7th Playoffs: Yes How Far: Eliminated first round. Awards: None.

The bottom seeds should have better records this year.

Trends change from year to year, its quite possible that it can happen. Also, I bet that the posters who are posting their predictions may also tie in some possible roster fills this offseason to take us to 40-42 wins. For example, its quite evident that we'll draft a PG (so they take that into account for next year). Also a C spot is still available, so from what I understand I bet they include a Center we may trade/sign this offseason. I doubt that people think that the Raptors could make the playoffs with their lineup they have now.
