We get a worse record than this year? At least make it the same record or something, winning only 30 games is pretty bad, and only 81 PPG? We averaged 85 this year an our offense was weak, 81???

lol just wondering, I don't think Carter will ever win a league MVP, but yea he's basically team MVP every year he's actually on the court.

Enough wins to get playoffs not enough for home court advantage and if the nets do poorly we could get second in the east if we win the atlantic

82-0 eh, I think we're trying to be realistic here, none of those except Carter leading all-star vote getter, All NBA team, possible 7th pick ROY and all-rookie team.

Yea I think Raps could win enough to get to the playoffs... but I doubt they'd do much special... but you never know, this year is gonna be the deciding year for where Vince's career will head... he barely finished last year with couple injuries here and there, and if he can do it again this year postin up around same stats, it's safe to say he won't go down the same road as Hardaway or Hill.

I'm thinkin Bosh would improve greatly... his work ethic is great and he's just very determined, as much talent as he has, he'll be one of those guys who'll actually get there workin hard, plain and simple, not just off natural talent. I wish Jalen Rose brings his game up a notch also... as for Murray, and Peterson, I don't know what the hell's gonna happen to them. I'm not even sure about Alvin, is that injury gonna affect his plays alot?

Record:41-41
Playoffs: Yes
Seed:8th
How Far Do They Go: Out in the first round

Awards
MVP - Vince Carter
MIP - Chris Bosh
Sixth Man: Donyell Marshall/Alvin Williams (if we sign a point guard)
Most surprising player to get playing time: Roger Mason Jr.

I hope Mason Jr. works hard on his game this offseason because he does have potential to be solid for the Raps. VC will be the best player on the team this year but the year after I look for Bosh to step in his shoes.

They still have the core group of players as last year and I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing. Last years team was very inconsistent and injury prone. If they can add a Troy Hudson or even better: Antonio Daniels through FA I'm changing their record to 48-34.

Team: Toronto Raptors
Record: 46-36
Playoffs?: Yes
Seed: 4th
How Far Do They Go?: Eliminated Second Round 6 game series
Awards: Second Team VC, Third Team CB4, Defensive team CB4, MIP Alvin (if healthy)
Team Stats: 95 PPG 43 RPG 6 BPG 7 SPG 13 TOPG

The reasoning behind the huge jump in wins is because this is what I think would happen with a healthy Raptors team. Also didd't we lead the leauge in most games decided by 3 points or less, and lost alot of those close games? And it all still depends on who is coaching, who we get in the free agency etc.

Alvin was injured his whole career so it isn't really gonna change much. He'll still play and give good D. I still remeber that block on AI and a similar one on Snow in the same game. I wonder if he will be injury free next season. If he was injury free he could be an All-Star.

Does anyone know, if our home uniforms will now be red, instead of the purple and black??? Just wondering????

i think in order for us to be a playoff contender, we need to get a true pg and center in Free agency. I know we drafted Aruojo, but he is not goin to beable to start, and bosh can't survive at center. So if we can get someone like Mark Blount, it would be great. We can get away with jalen at point, but we should definetly go after some pg's.

I think we're still gonna use 3 jerseys next year (the white and purple is home) and we're gonna use the red one at home and on the road, unless they decide to cut one out entirely. The team we had last year had the talent to make the playoffs but we had too many injuries and we lost so many close games. Remember when Alvin, Jalen, and VC were out. I think Aroujo is ready to start in the NBA because he is matured and he has the body, but I don't think that he will develop into much. Yes we still do need that free agent center, but the odds that we are gettin one that will start over Aroujo are slim because big men are expensive and id rather save some money for a pg. I believe that if Alvin is healthy he is a solid starting pg and that we'd just need a backup. Obviously if we have a shot at Hudson, Fisher, Nash we get them. Isn't Brevin Knight a free agent?

I'm not saying that they are going to win but they will make the playoffs for sure this year. Of course carter has a chance to get MVP. He has been leading go getter for the all-star game for i dont know how many years in a row. Carter is the most entertaining player in the league and YES HE DOES HAVE A CHANCE TO GET MVP!! any1 who knows their basketball knows that!

^We have black jerseys already. They are not the greatest but they serve their purpose.

I wonder what the 15 in my name stands for, another player with the number 15 [IMG]
Now ask everyone else here who they think is dumb, go on.....

League MVP and most entertaining player aren't the same thing, leading All-Star vote getter and league MVP aren't the same thing, if the Raptors can get a top 3 seed in the East, then Carter can get it, apart from that, we can keep wishing.

Even then, he still has to battle the likes of KG, JO, Duncan, maybe Tmac this year but I'm still not beleiving the Houston hype, likely Shaq, and depending on what the Lakers do maybe Kobe also, it's a hard knock life.
