I agree with you BN. Hopefully we draft Dwight, so that Drew Gooden can start. Drew Gooden has to be able to start to be effective. So what would our scoring options be? With guys like Gooden/Mobley/Francis/Dwight who can all score in bunches. Cato is still much better than Declerq at our starting center, so I'm all for getting him in the deal.
I disagree with both you guys. If Weisbord knows he's making the Houston deal then he's gotta take Okafor. Cato would be the only player who plays defense in the starting squad. And that's if he stays out of foul trouble. Howard doesn't seem like the type the player that is looking to improve his defense. He's been talking about how great his offensive game this entire time. Okafor and Cato would give us some defensive prescence inside so our guards can play tighter D and play the passing lanes more often. (Something Francis is excellent at) My 2 cents

Although thats a good point, I'd still stick with Howard and hope that Gooden improves on D...
Dwight avg 8 blocks a game in HS. I know it's a big difference from NBA and HS, but he has to have some kind of defensive skills to block 8 shots a game. Gooden and Dwight could improve defensively with good coaching. I would still stick with Dwight though, just like _BN_
Chad ford espn insider sasys that t-mac to houston is the worse deal for the magic. he says the clippers deal is the best deal for the magic, with the suns and pacers being better also. That's interesting I thought the rocket deal wasn't that bad. I don't like mobley to much though.
lmao , how are you going to Compare H.S. with the NBA and/or College? Okafor averaged what..4.3 blocks a game in College? bunch of 7 footers? not grade 11 kids.
This trade has not been agreed upon yet. Look at this article released today by espn.com http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1824945 this article says that they are still shopping tmac. It was released on the 21 this thread was posted the 19th so the trade aint official yet. Although judging by this article since there saying there is no room for shaq houston remains the number 1 option to ship tmac too. They have also reportedly been the leading canidate to aquire tmac since the first day it was announced tmac wanted to leave .
