I think not because last years draft the last decent pick was kyle korver at 52. IMO I think we should trade the pick to some other team along with some cash and either try and move up to earlier in the second round like from from 39 to 43 or try and trade the pick and cash for a decent vetern. Honestly not many players drafted in the second round espcially at 58 have ever been signed to a second contract.

So what you guys think we should do with the pick because if we could get a vetern imo it would help us alot more than a second round pick would in the playoffs. Mabye a decent vet 5 or a decent power forward that can play the 5 to add to the rotation till we find a real 5 to start there.

Well of course since the center spot is the wolves weakest position, the wolves need to draft one of those bigmen that dropped to the bottom of the draft because they have some question marks. Its probably going to be a bigman from overseas because they are the most unproven, somebody like Aleksandric Djuric. If he doesnt make the team or cant come over due overseas contract problems it doesnt matter he doesnt have a garunteed contract. So I would go with a bigbody & see if he could make the team & possiby produce.

    Wolves got the 59 pick.

How about a decent backup PG instead?

Well that isnt really our need cassel and a healthy hudson can play that position more than well. Also hoiberg can play a little bit of point guard for us. We are basically set imo at the point, 2, and small forward positions. I think we also need to get a better backup for garnett instead of trent he is decent, but I think we might be able to get someone better to be our backup ower forward.

Getting any good players with the 59th pick is a hard thing to do. The Wolves should draft a big man. We could draft a foreign player like Henacy said. But maybe we could draft a college player. We could get lucky and get someone like Marquis Daniels who was undrafted. Some teams could overlook a college player because of all the hype on foreign players. But I doubt we will find any decent prospects from the draft.

The team doesn't need a pg/sg player. The team biggest need is a big man and I think Nigel Dixon would be a good pick. He is 6"11 and 320 lbs. He isn't a shot blocker and is a poor free-throw shooter but he has the size we need and is projected to be in the late 2nd round. So we might pick him.

The Twolves screw up alot in the first round in the past so I am hoping for some second round success I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
