Ok its time to get some threads going. What other sports do you enjoy watching/playing? Also remember to inlcude teams and players.
I play football and soccer also, and I run track. <u>Football:</u> Toronto Argonauts, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins Players: Michael Vick, Ricky Williams and Mcnabb. <u>Soccer:</u> World Cup (Nigeria baby), Olympics, and some club soccer, don't have a favourite club team. Players: JJ Okocha, Tieri Henry Hockey, watch at times but don't play: Leafs
<u>I run track</u> - (won first at the meet and then at the boards and regionals placing 3rd in whole region) <u>Football</u> - play on rep team, and 2 other leagues winning MVP in 2 of 3 leagues. I watch soccer, but am not that good. You can say my ball handling isn't good. <u>golf</u> - live 2 blocks away from a range <u>hockey </u>- I only watch the playoffs and not the regular season
I play football and my favorite team is the Argos and Packers. I watch a bit of hockey and play it on the PS2, but do not play outdoors. Basketball takes up 4 hours of my day though, so I basically have no time to do anything else.
The only sport I play on a regular basis is basketball. The only other sport I play is Golf. Sports I like to watch: I'm really trying to get into soccer right now. After watching Eurocup with my buddies it seems like a really fun game (other than the low scores). As for favourite players I have none. Juan Carlos Valeron, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, and Thierry Henry. Those are the only players I know.
You don't know David Beckham, Michael Owen and all? C'mon... I'm a England fan. What teams do everyone else support for the Euro?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post">The only sport I play on a regular basis is basketball. The only other sport I play is Golf. </div> same here. But I do get into the hype when all the big stuff comes around ie. SuperBowl, stanlley cup(leafs won't win), Euro, and WorldCup.
I watch international Soccer Team: England Players: Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, David Beckham (not a bandwagoner). I watch football, only NFL Team: St. Louis Rams Players: Torry Holt I watch a bit of Baseball, fav team being the Jays. I play Golf as well. I only watch playoff hockey and my team is the Leafs. I play pretty much every sport recreationally, and watch a lot too. But I watch and play basketball way more than any other sport.

The Jays are ok and Leafs are to old for me to like. I have Football website with sportsrock.

I'm playing a lot of tennis right now...before i started work, my friend and I would play 5-6 hours every day.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">You don't know David Beckham, Michael Owen and all? C'mon... I'm a England fan. What teams do everyone else support for the Euro?</div> Oh yeah I know those guys. David Beckham is the Michael Jordan of soccer
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> David Beckham is the Michael Jordan of soccer</div> no he isn't, that would be pelee
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr.Fundamentals:</div><div class="quote_post">no he isn't, that would be pelee</div> Right now if you were to ask who knows David Beckham, the whole world would say yes. If the same question were to be asked about Pele, not everyone would say they know him. Beckham is more of a household name worldwide like Jordan was, plus hes one of the best players in the world.
I don't much of Becks now man, after he missed two penalties in the Euros. Blame it on bad stadiums, but the fact is he missed them twice in like 4 attempts, and penalty kicks are even easier than free throws.

As for the second, yes that was disapointing. He never had 4 attempts so wtf? lol. One kick (I don't count the one against France), regardless he is still the best set pieces kicker in the world, and one of the best all around players (an example 3 of his free kicks, or corners turned into goals).
