The blazers will have 13th pick 23th pick (from memphis) 47th pick and seems like a deal have been done with the nets...the blazers will send Eddi Gill + 3 million dollars for net's 22nd pick. They can draft 4 players this year. That is a fresh start, lets hope they wont draft players with drug problems hint hint Qytenl Woods.
my draft predictions 13th Luke Jackson, he might not be averible at 13 but gotta go with home town heros 22th Al Jefferson-according to nbadraft.net, he will be select at 22. more info on him...this guy average 42 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assit and SEVEN blocks per game. That is better than LeBron...scary. 23th Sebastian Telfair- there are articles about Mo Cheeks like Telfair. he will be a bench after Damon, but please no drugs. 47th Jaber Rouzbahani-according to nbadraft.net, the blazer will select this giant with their 47th pick. This guy can grab the ring without jumping, but he needs many years of polish to become a great player. Man if Jaber (7'5") can learn the blocking skills from Theo...he will be so dominate in the pain. The NBA might have to rise the hoop one or two feet higher just to make Jaber work.
Draft.net is just a prediction based site, just like Draft City and places like that. I would be very surprised if Jefferson was still available at 22, too.
Maybe all of you guys already know these but these are the players the blazers draft this year. Four players 13th pick Sebastian Telfair 22nd pick Viktor Khryapa (from New Jersey) 23rd pick Sergei Monia 46th pick Ha Seung-Jin those four player plus Zach can be the future of the blazers PG Telfair-great passer SG Sergei Monia-great shooter just like AK 47 fromt the Jazz SF Darius Miles/Viktor Khryapa PF Zach Randolph C Ha Seung-Jin-7 foot three still growing Korean, he is the first Korean player to enter the draft. I think that the blazers will buy out Sergei Monia's contract but will wait on Viktor Khryapa, after all, we have Darius Miles, so we dont need to spent extra money on a bench player.
I feel bad for u guys the joke of the league taking Telfair at 13 over a stud like Nelson. Can't belive the Blazers got pushed into taking him.
Portland wasn't the only team to pass on Nelson.19 teams passed on him and even the team that did draft him eventually traded him. I think that Telfair could become a star one day. He is only a teenager and has so you can't expect him to be physically mature nor can you expect him to be a sharp shooter from long range, all things that take time. What caught everyone's eye was his tremendous ball handling skills, passing ability and court vision, and those thing are harder to learn than anything else.
Nelson probably wasn't worth it at the 13th pick. He's a good player no doubt, but he's coming after his senior year, and what the NBA likes most is YOUTH. Telfair will sell tickets, and has a lot of upside compared to Nelson.. Nelson is probably the better player at this point, and perhaps for the next few years.. But 5-6 years down the road, who knows?
