I can't wait until the season begin so we can truly know which team will benefit the most off this trade. IMO I think the magic are still going to blow ass this year. Can anyone tell me what was the rockets's record when Francis, Mobley, and Cato started for the rockets a while back. IF I remember correctly they were under .500.

In the first season, Francis's second season, the Rockets finished with 45 wins in the Western Conference, and were one game short of the playoffs. In their second season, almost every player on the roster got injured and the Rockets were 28-54.

The Magic sucked last season because they plaey ZERO defense, with the trade and drafting Okafur they get better defensively at 4 positions, while Francis and Mobley should produce more than McGrady produced on offense. It's going to be a fun team to watch, I can't see why Magic fans would complain, it's either this trade or let McGrady come back, have your team near the bottom again and then leave.
New rumor that Franchise and Cato to the Bulls of Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford and the #3 pick. I don't have a link though.

I did go to the Rockets Magic game in Houston last season... Saw McGrady quit on his team and get dominated by Mobley, in that game I think Tyrone Lue scored 10 MORE points than McGrady... Don't hold your breath on a 70 point McGrady game...

Then if he does have help and has to pass the ball to yao, taylor, and the rest of rockets. IMO he will average less points this season because he has more people who need to have the ball. Tmac wont accept his role as a rocket imo he wont accept the role like francis did. Francis realised that he could score 30 points for the rockets but when he did they didnt win. So he accepted that the offense had to run through Yao. While imo tmac wont and it will be bad for them.
Anyone that says this ain't a good deal is really crazy.. Look I think I have heard more ROCKET Fans say this was a better trade for Orlando than actual Magic fans say it was a better trade for Orlando... We will not find much of a better deal that this.. So why not?
HAHA! Who won that game by double digits? Seriously though, I'll be rooting for a 70 point game from McGrady, afterall he is on my team now, not 100% done but close enough... However, I prefer that he gets 30 and Yao gets 40...
Pure Skillz... Last season McGrady had teammates that needed the ball, he didn't trust them, one of the reasons why I won't get too high on him until he shows me something on the court...

Is not that bad of a trade..specially if Steve would like to play in Orlando..but I'm saying....there could be a better one, that Artest,Harrington,Bender for T-Mac and Howard....we will have Bogans Okafor and Artest in the same team? If there is a 3 way deal...then send Franchise to Indy and get Artest :-D...or something like that I just want Artest here and Harrington indy gets Franchise , Mobley ,and Cato , orlando gets Artest, Harrington,Bender and Pacers pick..Rockets get Juwan and T-Mac? we draft JR Smith whoaa he's impressive..he is going to be like T-Mac anyways...anybody thinks about this crazy ass trade maybe deeper?

If tmac had another diominant scorer like shaq the the opposing team would not have to focus their entire defense on mcgrady. Tmac will get easier shots therefore increasing his scoring.
