It looks like Ricky Williams will never play football again. He still doesn't think he should have to pay all those millions back to the Dolphins, but something tells me he's going to end up coughing it up.
He is dumb not to have accepted reinstatement, at least keep his options open. Of course, why should we be surprised he is doing something dumb
If Ricky really wanted to not go out like a jerk he would have: 1. Accepted re-instatement 2. Served his four game suspension this year 3. Re-Negotiated his contract down to the league minimum in exchange for not having to pay back the $8.6 million 4. THEN retire or let the Dolphins waive him Everybody wins. Right now, nobody wins.
