just read about the t-mac for francis trade, why not throw shaq in there? shaq could go to orlando, houston gets t-mac, la gets franics or ming and players to fill up cap space.
ming isn't going anywhere for anybody. to match shaq's salery the magic would have to give up a way too much. and why would shaq want to go to orlando after tracy's gone? they'd prolly have to trade hill, tmac, and their first round pic. if he thought the lakers are gonna suck, if he went to orlando, who would he have there? no all stars, no stars, an untested coach, a new GM, a below average owner... just him. plus he's can opt out after next season, leaving them with nothing AGAIN. all that and i didn't even mention houston which makes it more complex.
I don't know how much clout Shaq's got, but he already marked off Orlando as a possible place to go due to the lack of energy on their part to get him.
Yao is the future of the NBA his first time facing shaq he got dominated in his rookie season he could not hold his spot on defense you watch the video and you will see. This season he learned so much. He can hold his ground now when he is defending shaq and he is being trained by kareem abdual jabbar so he should develope quickly. He will not be traded anyu time soon. There is not a player in the NBA besides KG or mabye Tim Duncan that would even draw a rumor for a yao ming trade. He has been set as the corner stone of the franchise now that francis has been traded. Also this trade is already been agreed on both teams and is now official since none of the players were taken in the expansion draft. This trade can now not be altered as it was agreed apon by both teams before the draft and they both agreed pending that no one is taken in the expansion draft it would be official.
Trade is not Official the mcgrady to houston trade might not happen, Orlando is having second thoughts after francis said he does not want to play in orlando and the suns sweetened there offer.

Must be something really good because the magic wanted marion and amare for tmac. Is that what they offered. If not I dont think it will happen basically because the maigc houston trade was in the works for about a week now. To just drop it after it has been reported on espn, agreed to by both teams, and givin a "blessing" by yao would seem unlikely.
You forgot a big point in this. The secret plan in Shaq and Tmac's heads are to some how wind up on the same squad together.
Dallas is the front-runner for Shaq as it stands. They made a trade today that sends Antawn Jamison to Washington for the #5 pick, Laettner and Stackhouse. According to ESPN they will use the #5 pick as trade bait for a deal for Shaq, and then use Laettner and Stackhouse as trade bait for other possible trades. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1827125 Also, ESPN is reporting that the Suns have traded their #7 pick to Chicago for the Bulls second rounder this year, a future draft pick and cash. This deal in essence will take Phoenix out of the T-Mac hunt due to the fact that the Magic were asking for the #7 pick in any deal. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2004/co...tory?id=1827142 It's also being reported that the Pacers are looking to stay active in the trade market, BUT have not offered Ron Artest and possibly Al Harrington in any deal to Orlando. Larry Bird is quoted as saying "There's a lot of interest in Al," Bird said. "We're not really shopping Al. I wish Al was happy here and everybody else was happy, but sometimes a change of scenery will do both teams some good."(http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1826548) Bird also said, "We have a lot of guys with a lot of talent," Bird said. "We can put packages together to go after these guys."
Alright Aight, Hunter chnage my name back to RJ 21. This guy trying to be like me! Naw, LOL, he's new... But anyways change my name back. thanks. Also, I just hope Dirk and Nash come to LA as wlerl as Howard for Shaq. C'mon Cuban!
My bad, I didn't know you had superman as your name. I only chose that becuase I got the superman tat and I've always liked him, I'll change my name instead or however that works since you were here before me...
The rumor as i heard it that the Suns had decided to put Johnson in the deal, but they just dealt the 7th pick to chicago and has thus basiclly given up on getting mcgrady. Only teams left that could take mcgrady out of houstons hands are indiana and Dallas and both of them seem to have given up. Bird as of yet wont give the magic what they want and dallas is probally gonna trade for Shaq. One thing is for sure Mcgardy is not in a rockets uniform yet so anything can happen.
I hear about Shaq going to all there place that have almost no cap room and it doesn't make sense to me. Why not the spurs?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sabretooth:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know how much clout Shaq's got, but he already marked off Orlando as a possible place to go due to the lack of energy on their part to get him.</div> I also read this story. Shaq does not have any power to veto a trade, but his ace in the hole is his ability to simply refuse to re-sign after his current contract expires. No team is going to give up an arm and a leg for Shaq to simply rent him for two seasons. His list has been cut to 8 teams and he wants to play for a contender.

They are Demanding Dirk, the 5th pick will be the other thing they really want. Thanks for the information, but some people also through in names that seem to have no chance of aquiring Shaq. I don't know what you mean by a bench full of stars, the spurs don't have as many but surely they could work out a tasty deal. I don't understand why the spurs are refusing to go after a big name, theres plenty out there and you never hear the spurs mentioned. They have plenty of cap room to do it. I am sorry I understand basketball but I don't understand the business.
screw t-mac... the rockets should just send francis, mobley, cato, taylor, and whoever else to fill the salary gap... for Shaq. Put Shaq at the 4 with Yao at the 5 and then fill the rest of the roster with guys who can shoot 3's and pass the ball. no one will be able to stop them.

I bolded your mistakes for you bro. Jeeze.
