lol... you're kidding.. right? that has to be the worst trade suggestion I've heard since Shaq asked to be traded. Chris "half a season" Webber and Christie for Shaq? hahahah... Sorry but no thanks.

You will have a better chance of seeing a Unicorn than this trade happening.

Actually, this was listed as one of the more likely and possible trades. BUT it was going to be something like Peja and Brad, and then some I think. This isn't likely since the Kings would have to gut their team, which is the last thing that team needs. It IS more likely than some of the trade rumors going around though, although Shaq getting traded is looking more and more unlikley.

Here you go, how's this for news:

"A source from one superstar's entourage said Chris Webber has hinted to Kings management he'd go to Los Angeles. They've discussed Webber and former Laker Vlade Divac for Shaq. But any deal with Sacramento should include Mike Bibby, just as any deal with Dallas -- the odds-on favorite -- should include Dirk Nowitzki." Newsday

Just curious? Why? Christie is a nut case of the highest order.
He creaps me out, personally. But he plays a game that reminds
me of what Scottie Pippen did for the Bulls. Centerfield on defense,
and scores when needed but doesn't take the ball away from the stars.
    He's a good player.

Think about it. Do you honestly believe Doug Christie and Chris Webber is on Shaq's value? I'll give you some time to think about it, and once you're through thinking, get back to me.

Oh, sorry, that wasn't my point. My bad. I was referring to the comment
"Why would the Lakers want Christie?" They'd want him because he is good.

I'm with you, that would be stupid for the Lakers to trade Shaq
for Kristie and Webber. Webber is crap. That would be an awesome deal
for Sac. They'd get rid of that loser Webber who is always hurt and
couldn't make a big shot if his life depended on it. The only thing he
has going for him is that hot girlfriend of his. Having to part with a nice
roll player like Christie would be minor.

So here's a more realistic deal: Shaq for Bibby and Brad Miller
or maybe this: Shaq for Bobby Jackson, Christie and Brad Miller
Laker fans might not be thrilled about it, but it would fill some
holes and give them a more well rounded team.

For one, I've been hearing individuals saying Doug Christie is like Scottie Pippen?? I know nowadays we make crazy comparisons left and right, but this matchup is ridiculous. [IMG] Face it, Webber won't be the player he used to be with the plates that's been installed in his legs, losing elevations on his dunking ability and horrific looking jumpshot. Sacramento will suffer with that 100 million dollar contract they gave him.

I'd definitely go for the Shaq for Bibby and Brad Miller. Bibby is one of the best point guards in the game today, with himself succeeding off varieties of screen and rolls, pick and rolls, and most importantly, he's clutch and isn't afraid to take the big shot whenever neccessary. Brad Miller will definitely strengthen our frontcourt. He has size with himself listed as 7'0", he's a beast in the rebounding categories, he's very physical with his opponents, and he has terrific shooting ability especially from the baselines. Maybe if Karl Malone came back for a 19th season, we could move him at center. The only problem I have with these players is they would be former Queen players and I have problems with ex-rivals that join my team. They'd simply have to earn their purple and gold colors before I support them. [IMG]

Christie isnt really a good player. Hes played some good defense most of the time. But he has a horribly inconsistent shot. He often airs 3s and even Free-throws at times. Bibby isn't one of the best PG's in the game, but he is known at times to come up big. Brad Miller is a promising young player who is probably one of the Kings most vauable players at the moment. C-Webb MAY come back next season playing up to the level that got him that huge contract, but if not, the Kings are gonna want to get rid of him ASAP.

BTW Emo, I know what you mean. I live in Sac and see the big Lakers- Kings rivalry all the time. It would be maybe awkward for some king splayers to go to the Lakers, but mostly only if Shaq waS there.
