Well, you can say it will never happen, meanwhile it's ine of the top possibilities for a Shaq trade. The trade works out, Shaq would like to go there. If Shaq does indeed get traded, Sacramento is high on the list of possibilities, remember that.

first off.... O'neal never actually said he wanted to go to sacramento, just that he wouldnt mind it secondly, IF such a trade of webber/christie were made, christies offensive flaws would not really be of issue since he would be there for two reasons only. 1) get the ball to bryant and 2) defense. his offensive game would really be a non issue in LA. thirdly, IF O'neal were to go to Sac, the fans would, as said by another reporter "forget all about the previous comments from Shaq just as soon as he dunked hard on someones bean". Its possible that it will happen even if unlikely, and has less obsticles than shaq going to dallas since dallas refuses to part with nowitzki. the kings are not that in love with either webber or christie although they would rather they didnt leave. I have a feeling that the Lakers are going to have to make a deal with the devil (read that as maloofs/cuban) and choose the lesser of two evils while getting what they can out of it. unfortunatly for the Lakers, they are going to be on the loosing end of this trade no matter which course they take. keep in mind, there is NO way of getting equal value for O'neal and they are going to have to figure out how to get the most they can for him. In the long run, getting rid of his contract and having Bryant happy may just be the only way of getting equal value for O'neal. The kings will not part with Bibby, however and if they ship webber out they will be hard pressed to get rid of miller since he would be the most likely candidate for starting at the 4 spot. even with all that, its still very unlikely that O'neal will be in a kings uniform next year. I would welcome it, but im not gonna hold my breath for it. fourthishly (yes, i know that is not a real word) Ozzy bit the head off a bat, not a dove. The bat's head was mistakenly bitten off when someone tossed what he thought was a rubber toy to him. check out snopes for that bit http://www.snopes.com/music/artists/marilyn2.htm ... and i would stay away from the bat heads
Well, it's more of a decision on L.A.'s part, because the Shaq trade is based on whether or not Kobe stays. It's expected that if Kobe will stay, they will accept Shaq's trade request. Now, if that happens then you will be looking at a rather thin list of teams that can successfully make the trade. As far as I've seen, these trades are either not equal to Shaq(giving the Lakers thebad end of the deal) or it exceeds Shaq, resulting in the Lakers needing to give another player in the deal. On the list, Sacramento is an OK possibility, while maybe not the best one. Shaq did say that he wouldn't mind going to Sacramento, which coud say something. So, to sum it up do not be too surprised if the trade went down. First, however, they need to find out if Shaq's trade request will be granted, which we may find out as early as tommorow(the first day offers ca be made to free-agents) So, there not much more that can be said now, untill we know whether the Shaq will be traded.
I think everyone right now is over-valueing shaq. Sure he can be the most dominant player in the game, but only when he wants to. Where the hell was he for the 5 games that was the final? How the hell can a guy that big dissappear, its not like he's a set of car keys. However, I don't think the lakers are stupid enough to take on Webbers contract, he is about as useless as breasts on a nun. Miller and Bibby would make sense!
