i was resding in a article shaq wants to be a mav if so who will the mavs trade for him because he would help the mavs with there lack of defence
Yeah I heard about Shaq to Mavs. Cuban said he wants Shaq, too bad no Shaq and T-Mac in Dallas, but this trade works out better for the Mavs: nash, walker, and i forgot the third part for shaq, the Mavs would be a lot better, Mavs PG Daniels SG Finley SF Nowitzki PF Howard C Shaq I don't think Shaq would get as many shots as he THINKS he deserves with Nowitzki and Finley on the floor, nevertheless they have a hell of a team. This could happen, but who knows..The Mavs would probably win the West with this lineup Lakers wouldn't be bad either Bryant would probably love to play alongside Steve Nash..
Dude, you know if this trade goes through Lakers are getitng Nash too. Nowitzki's conteract is about half of Shaq's! LOL. Sorry. Nash and Nowitzki to the LAkers! Yes!
The Lakers are adament on having Nowitzki if they deal Shaq to the Mavs. Cuban does not want to offer Nowitzki, so I don't see this deal happening. I really doubt the Lakers trade Shaq to any Western Conference team.
Well, I've been following the off-season religiously since it started, and today I was on ESPN.com and I saw an Insider story (have to subscribe to read all of its contents) that said something about Cuban looking at a Shaq trade that would send over Nowitzki and Walker. Being a Laker fan, I wouldn't want Walker...but Nowitzki would be nice.
I rather take Nowitzki and Nash, Finley, Jamison, or even the rookie and Finley over Walker! Walker is a lazy fat ass. We don't wan't to exchnage fat asses! LOL. Nah, Walker is just lazy!
wait...nash isnt a restricted free agent, so he'd have to agree to a sign and trade deal, it couldnt just be pulled off without a hitch. nash would have to agree to play for the lakers, which isnt a sure deal. nash wants to re-sign with the mavs, if the mavs are willing to ship him off, he could sign anywhere he wants
Nash will not be included in any trade for Shaq for this reason: If hes not playing in Dallas, hes going to want to play in Toronto. And you can call me a homer or whatever, but its the truth. Any deal for the Mavs to get Shaq probably will have to include Nowitzki because I dont think the Lakers will take any less. Walker has to be in there for salary purposes, because Shaq's is huge, and someone like a Najera, or a Josh Howard would be thrown in also, probably not Howard, because I think the Mavs like him a lot. Nash would then probably resign with the Mavs, or he'd go elsewhere, while the Mavs try to sign a PF to play in the lineup, since Jamison is a better 3, possibly Kurt Thomas? And my favourite, the lineups: PG Steve Nash/Marquis Daniels SG Michael Finley SF Josh Howard PF Kurt Thomas?/Antwan Jamison C Shaquille O'Neal PG Derek Fisher/Gary Payton? SG Kobe Bryant SF Antwan Walker PF Dirk Nowitzki C Slava Medvadenko I dont really see Payton wanting to work in another offense where he cant be used properly, so the Lakers resign Fisher, and obviously sign Kobe. Nowitzki and Kobe in the same offense will be interesting to watch. Walker would just plant himself there for the threes. This offense would be revolved around the 3's, with 4 good 3 point shooters in the starting lineup. Also, Walker wont get all the shots he wants, so he'll be forced to take good ones, I could see him improving on the Lakers squad. Nash would be the perfect PG to run in an offense with Shaq, quick drives up the court, passing it inside under the rim, and Shaq throws it home. You might see some of Shaq's best play in the Mavericks offense, because its very ungreedy. And with a guy like Thomas eating up rebounds with Shaq, those two at 4 and 5 will make the Mavs defense a lot better. But of course, this trade probably wont happen because Cuban doesnt want to trade Nowitzki, and the Lakers probably dont want to trade Shaq to a team in the Western conference.
how can nowitzki be untradable when the other guy that is involved is shaq? he must be on crack. mavs should give up nowitzki, walker, wahad, give shawn bradley away for free for shaq and fox, i know they won't trade rush so soon, he will trun out to be good it seems.
Well, Cuban has eaten his words! He is offering Nash and Nowitzki (Maybe some other filler as well) for Shaq and Fisher. Let's go through with it Lakers!!! That's how it's going to look!!!
An NBA executive said late Wednesday that the Mavericks now would approach the Lakers with a new offer of Dirk Nowitzki, Josh Howard and the No. 5 pick in exchange for O'Neal. To make the deal work, Dallas would have to find a way to add another $8 million or so in salary owed to a player or players as a way of balancing the NBA-high $27.7 million O'Neal is set to make next season. Owner Mark Cuban had told the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday that Nowitzki would not be included in an O'Neal trade. But the executive speaking late Wednesday said the Mavericks' new offer would include the sixth-year All-Star forward. Dallas still would be able to pair O'Neal in a lineup with Antoine Walker, Michael Finley and Steve Nash should it trade away Nowitzki. Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak declined to address O'Neal's situation in detail during a Wednesday conference call with reporters, which ended only a few minutes before the trade was announced. http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,20...2231336,00.html

TRADE ACCEPTED Due to L.A. Lakers, Dallas, and Washington being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Lakers, Dallas, and Washington had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. <note this simulator property of relaGm, www.realgm.com>
If the Lakers acquired Walker it would be to satisfy the cap, don't look for him to be buying a house in LA
Also, the Lakers won't trade with Dallas, because Dirk has to be included. Imgaine and inside/outside combo of Shaq/Dirk? NO thanks! Also, they are looking more towards the PAcers offer. J-Oneal and Artest I think. But hey, J-ONeal is good for me!

Quoting SuperMan:

That's how it's going to look!!!
nah, i think he should get #32 back, but i dought he will get it. man, if this trade goes through, i will be becoming a dallas fan, and it will help, casue my aunts have been getting on me for not being one, since then live in dallas
