Have you all forgotten about Glenn Robinson? The so-called "great" that we acquired during last offseason turned out to be a complete waste. I think our top priority has to be getting rid of him..

Does anybody see a potential trade? Or.. better yet.. have any of you heard anything surrounding this issue?

I think I'll be the first one to admit, that he has in a way contributed to this team this season. Despite those nagging injuries and the lack of defense that he's play, he provided the 76ers with scoring. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was the reason he was brought in the first place right? I personally don't want him to go, I would give him one more year to see how does.

    BTW Welcome to JBB!!!

Mabye a trade to get stackhouse back to philly from washington. Dont sure if the contracts would match, but mabye a little dose of the old sixers will revive the current ones. Last time it didnt work because both looked for there own shots, but with stackhouse's talents on the down fall I dont think that would be a problem this time.

Nah I dont think the Sixers would want Stack back he is really old and injury prone.Glenn was ok at the offensive end but he can't play defense if his life depended on it,thats the main reason why I would like to see him traded.

The answer to that question is.....No one. There is some hard evidence around the NBA and in most media circles that this guy can't even bend down to tie his shoes anymore. He is declining now. I see him as the mid-range version of the career of Glen Rice. We all know where he is now....actually maybe not.

Ever consider making him come off the bench? Rumor has it that Aaron McKie may no longer be a 76er next season, so we would be in need for another 6th man. Robinson coming off the bench would make him less vulnerable to opposing SF's with his lack of defense. We've seen worst defenders in the NBA, but Glenn Robinson puts a body on whomever he's guarding at least. So his no-defense mentality wouldn't hurt us as much. What do you think?

NO WAY. He makes way too much money to be a 6th man.. and a sub-par one at that.

I think he means if you can't trade him... His defense will hurt you either way, but if he comes off the pine it would hurt you alot less. He'll probably get pissed about time though.

Trade Glenn Robinson and Eric Snow+Mckie for Speedy Claxton and Eric Dampier+Troy Murphy. It would be a dream deal for us.

Why would Golden State do that trade? They're giving up 2 double double guys and a very good pointguard, for a decent pointguard and a washed up old guy who doesnt play defense.

I didn't say GS will do it,I think Sixers wouldn't even consider offering such a trade but I would like to see Craig back in Philly. [IMG]

Since when is Eric Snow only a "decent" point guard??? In my opinion, he is "MUCH" better than Claxton. He's only a little older and not as flexible...that's all. Snow also has VERY good court vision.

NO! Do not go after Jerry Stackhouse. He is a total disgrace now down there in Washington. Ever since he got traded there his whole career has went downhill. I wish him the best of luck in Dallas but I just think he needs to retire soon. I believe the Sixers should go after the new Wizard, Antwan Jamison. He is a great scorer who could start at the 2 spot for us. I would love to see him in a Sixers uniform.
