<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Phoenix Suns have traded the No. 7 pick in Thursday's draft to the Chicago Bulls, ESPN.com Insider has learned. In the process, the Suns may be out of the running for Tracy McGrady. The trade, which won't be announced until Thursday, will give the Suns one of the Bulls' second-round picks (No. 31), a future first-rounder and an undisclosed sum of cash in return for the pick. The move is no surprise on one front -- the Bulls have been looking for a second lottery pick. They have had an infatuation with Oregon's Luke Jackson for some time and sources believe Chicago likely will select Jackson with the No. 7 pick. </div> Full Story
Well that would also open up the door for them to possible aquire paul pierce since the rumor appeared in the boston celtics forum they are tring to get him. Now they can get him and also still have a lottery pick or do as suggested in your post and us both lottery picks.
Okay the Bulls need a SG and SF right, so now can't they get Deng at #3, and Iguodala at #7, wow that would be great for them. Orlando - Emeka unless Francis trade goes down then Howard Charlotte - Howard Chicago - Deng Clippers - Livingston Dallas - Pavel? might trade down still Atlanta - Josh Smith? Gordon? Iguodala? Chicago - Iguodala if he's still here, they get a SG and a SF wow Deng and Iggy. Toronto - Gordon or Harris I heard y'all like Gordon though, but I don't see thel ogic in drafting him.
It would be enjoyable to see both of them in Bulls jersey's, Paxson liked both of them in their workouts with the team.
i read in the article they are interested in luke jackson??? why??? a weak player good college player i think, but offense and defense in the nba not going to do it...if the bulls could get deng and iguadala, that would be great.
I dont know but I have a feeling they'll take Gordon since they considered him in the first place (he wasnt even a team need but he must be that good) and if Iggy is there, theyll take him at 7
haha, what a deal. I don't see the Bulls drafting anyone here. I believe both picks will be traded, they do not like anyone in the draft. I can't believe they said the Bulls have been "infatuated" with Luke Jackson. I've heard numerous Bulls insiders saying that the Bulls do not want to start over with draft picks but rather go for some bing named established players.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">If we draft Gordon, and play him at point, I'll be pissed. Him at the 2, im cool with that...</div> ha, that wont happen, kirk hinrich is the point gaurd, who is the bulls back-up PG anyway? gordon can't play defense, from what iv seen from the ncaa tourney. they need iguadala.
Iguodala is my boy this guy has potential, him and josh smith would be my first priorities because they are both versatile and oozing with talent. Deng is great too but his amazing skills are limited to playing the 3 spot, he's not quite a banger so he cant be a 4 or 5 and he'd be a bit slower than smaller gaurds unless he played 2, so all in all Iggy seems better to me but at the moment Luol Deng is the better player. Deng at 3 and Iggy at 2....... DAMN!!
They need to take Deng and Iguadala, or trade the seventh pick to get Pierce in a package deal. Drafting Gordon would be one of the biggest mistakes the Bulls would ever make, only because they have one of the most intelligent players in Kirik Hinrich at the point. If Hinrich is benched or placed at the SG spot, then they're crapped again. And I'd be done with the Bulls at that point.
Man Chicago is lucky those picks are both really good and they should both be very valuble,it must feel like X-Mas in Chi-Town right now.
The Bulls should take Iguadala with The seven if he is still available and trade the three in a package to Boston for Paul Pierce but that still leaves them weak at the power forward position
I donno, the Bulls could trade Crawford, Chadler, the 7th pick and cash to Boston for Pierce if that rumor is true about the interest. Imagining a starting line up of Kirk Hinrich at 1, Andre Iguadala at the 2, Paul Pierce at 3, Eddy Curry at 4 or 5.. That's a good line up. Of course, either way they want to go, the 4 or 5 spot will be a missing portion for the Bulls. Best to go for Pierce and Iguadala, or Iguadala and Deng.
I think Boston is looking for a point guard Crawford could fill that and then boston could take Shawn Livingston to fill the vacant 2 position with the three or Ben Gordon and Crawford at the 2
Donno, if they have the 7th pick and the Bulls take Iguadala, then Deng would most likely be left on the board. They would probably take him then to fill in the 3 spot.
Curry C Chandler PF Igulodala SF Pierce SG Hinrich PG I like this line up and think the Bulls should do everything they can to make it happen. Will we win a championship probably not but what a great start at a new beginning
